I’ve been meditating seriously for over a year now, though I also practiced meditation in my early 20s. I’m currently 34 and have been sober for some time after struggling with drugs and alcohol for over 15 years. Lately, I’ve been listening to Michael Singer’s work, especially The Untethered Soul and Living Untethered. His podcasts have become part of my daily routine on my way to work. He often quotes Jesus and speaks about him as a yogi, which has deeply resonated with me. Somewhere along the way, I lost my connection to religion, but hearing these teachings has awakened something in me. I feel like understanding Jesus more deeply could be the missing piece in my life. I’m now wondering which path or tradition would focus solely on Jesus and his teachings, without all the extra layers. I want to make Jesus my guide, my yogi, and I’m searching for the right spiritual direction to take.
Congratulations on your sobriety and loving yourself to get here. I am currently working on my sobriety. I found Michaels message about a yr ago. I loved to read that there is someone else who listens to him daily. He is the first thing i listen to in the morning and my long commute. I was sharing recently that Michaels views, how he relays his messages are so easy to understand. He doesnt shame, he doesnt favor one religion over the other. On the contrary he will continually give an example of something I feel I am doing wrong and he will inevitably say, "it's ok" and give an example of how to let go. My favorite quotes are him saying that he is a Jewish Yogi on Love with Christ's teachings. Also, the moment in front of you is not bothering you, you are being bothered by the moment. I find myself telling myself this alot. Wishing you many years of happiness and continued sobriety.
Funny, I'm exactly in the same position - 34, clean and sober, finding MS's talk as great inspiration and help + wanting, like you, to know Jesus deeper. I dont know which path is right for you, but I have thought about reading the bible just like MS talks about he did many years ago, and he just hears/remembers his words ❤
I have been enjoying the content very much for several years now. I would love for it to be uploaded on Spotify as well. Spotify has a little more material than RUclips 🔥❤
Increíble como explica algo tan difícil de entender como dios en palabras tan sencillas. Lo adoro una inspiración para seguir compartiendo su contenido al mundo

Excellent talk! Thanks for not adding a superfluous intro 💜❤️
I love how every image for the videos is a bench and a view. It helps me figure out a new video is up faster.
So liberating. Thank you ❤🎉
