No, the fashion industry isn't going to grab a black, Asian, Latino or European just for the sake of grabbing one or being diverse. When people make noise about sweatshop overseas I think they might not be aware of the logistics of distribution in ALL aspects of quality of life development. Many of these places where clothing is manufactured is in countries of inhospitable environs. 'Getting' (having a job) means that the workplace is probably air-conditioned/and or heated. Whether or not the job 'pays' is a matter of international trade and international exchange rates . . . the fashion worker might actually be frontier crusader for elevating standards of living in their own particular domestic market . . . it takes a while to spread the wealth responsibly so that segments of 'that' "worker's" community are not left behind. It's good to care. It's also being worked on . . . I HOPE!
I love when she says "I'm your best friend', like friendship is made that way. I love this show. Before it I didn't know that people so fake really exist. I watch it as a documentary about them (how they move, think, react, interact etc) and it's quite interesting
