@@kaylaclemens3320 Once you're at the hotel, you can hang whatever shirt you want to wear in the bathroom while you/someone showers. The steam will get rid of the wrinkles. I do this at home sometimes with a few of my shirts that easily wrinkle. Or throw it in the dryer for a few minutes. I don't iron, so those are a couple of ways to get around that. Lol

What an adorable family! ❤️I’m the youngest of seven and my precious mom was a single mom but was always very organized! Something that I truly grew to appreciate as I got older and became very organized in my college life, work & married life,as well.These are such invaluable skills to teach children!
Also have a great holiday! Would love to see how you "catch up" when back home- our suitcases get left for longer than I care to admit 🙈 And next time you go away a house prep video would be awesome too!
@@mandikins19 I thought that was the norm, who wants to come home to a dirty house? We either have a cleaner or we clean thoroughly just before leaving. We also do laundry on holiday and come back with clean clothes.

We always pack snacks, but it's usually just a bunch of stuff thrown in a grocery bag for everyone to pull from. I LOVE the idea of everyone having their own bag! We'll be doing that in the future.

We've done the rolling clothes and snack bags but never the family toiletry bag. Great idea! Although my babies are grownups now, but ya never know if we'll do a family trip soon. 😁👍

I have 5 kids and each kid has a different color of socks. So my nine year old has purple socks and my six year old has blue socks etc

I loved your video. We are doing a family holiday to Europe for 5 weeks, so have been thinking about the packing. Only taking 2 large suitcases, so have bought each person a different colour of travel cubes. Hoping this will keep things organised and easy to find.

Loved this! I watched it a while back when you first uploaded it, but I just came back to it again because we are 2 weeks out from vacation and I needed some ideas to put a little order into my packing. We will be traveling by car, driving for about 7 hours. We have 3 kids (ages 6yo, 11yo and 9 months), so this was super helpful! I'll definitely be making the big kids their own snack bags for the car! Thanks, lady😊

I love the idea of the individual snack bags for the kids. Definitely a money saver! I also love that you can pack nutritious snacks and add some treats. Therefore the kids are not tempted (and we as parents are not guilted) into getting airport junk food and snacks.

I didn't realize you can take all that food through security and on the plane.
Denise Williams you can check in (under the plane) 1 bag per person and 1 carry on bag per person
I knew you can have it in a checked bag but not a carry on. I learned something today
Yep! Just no liquids over 4 oz or whatever it is. I take a ton of snacks with me every time I fly.
yes! I didn’t realize that last time I flew and starved the entire flight lol next time I’m definitely making a huge snack bag!
Yes, you can pack all kinds of food unless it is a liquid. I don't know if she ever got that applesauce to clear security other than for the baby which you allowed to have enough liquids for the baby to last you until you reach your destination. You can take a lot of food we do it all the time. Things like peanut butter are limited and I recommend you get the travel peanut butter that comes in individual packs already sealed and make sure that is in a quart size bag like all other liquids, such as lotions, hand sanitizer, perfumes, Etc. We always take granola bars, Trail mixes, empty water bottles, candies and gum, and pepperoni sticks in a really big bag. Some people will actually pick up Subway or Burger King or even McDonald's on the way in but do not get anything that's too liquidy that is what Security will take away and deny you clearing through the airport with.

Another way we do it (for kids) if we are taking an outfit for each day, we'll put the whole outfit including underwear, tights, socks etc. in a zip lock bag so they can just pull out a bag and I'll know it'll match and have the right accessories :D

@@katherine7444 We use the same ones over and over, as the clothes going in are clean the empty bags stay in the front zip of the suitcases and then they are there ready for our next trip :D One box of Ikea zip bags has lasted us 6 years! An alternative would be to sew some but then the kids won't see what's inside and may go rummaging through :)

Just a thought (not intended as anything but an idea) - but instead of plastic bags you could use wash bags.
Video idea: how to make sure you come back from the trip with everything that you left with (someone always seems to leave something behind at the hotel and plus I always seem to come back with more, souvenirs, Etc).
Also, I can't understand how you seem to get so much done in such a short amount of time! That is my dream goal!!! I takes me forever to complete a task it seems ugh!

What about strollers and car seats?
Great question
A lot of countries down that way don’t have laws that require car seats. I know Mexico is one of them that doesn’t require them. Although in Mexico City children can’t sit up front.
We are going to Mexico in a couple months and I was also told not to worry about carseats either.
J Hoems I'd be worried driving without one, regardless of laws..can't you rent them when you rent cars though?
@@jhoems8007 carseats not needed. taxi not required. we hang at hotel the whole time and don't need... lots of cobblestones too. baby slings/bjorns best for littles

I had the same question. I traveled over Christmas and yogurt wasn’t allowed so probably won’t make it through. Maybe as a first snack before they go through security!!
Yes, I wondered about apple sauce too. I had packed some for my kiddo and it was confiscated because it was over the 3.4 oz limit about a month ago.
Whenever I bring snacks or even water I just tell them it's for the kids and they let me take it!

This is AMAZING!!!!!! We are leaving for Disney world in 3 days for our first trip with a second kid and this could not of been more perfect timing. I had no idea you could bring snacks either!!! I love the whole system! I personally pack by day rather than by kid. I use wetbags from our favorite diaper company, Lalabye Baby, to separate out each day and only grab whichever bag I need. Overnight stuff also gets a bag. It works really well so only one bag is needed per day rather than all of them.
Here’s another tip: use gallon size ziplock bags to pack your kids clothes! You can put undies, shirt, pants, socks, hair bows, etc all in one bag! Then just write their name and the date they will wear it. It makes things so much easier!

When we went to San Antonio from Dallas (where we live) it took about 5 hours with stopping but we had drinks and snacks in a big bag. We ended up staying an extra night so we got pizza from a local Pizza Hut and we had drinks in the room it helped so much.

thefamilymixx they are most likely going to a resort made for families. Doubt they are heading to the poor areas of Mexico with their little ones.
Yes for the most part it is a safe place I will be going for the second time soon
No, not really, with our current regime it is very dicey to go there now, the travel to and from a resort is very risky, esp. with very young children when you might need to attempt to get away quickly. The State dept. highly recommends against it right now.

Turistic áreas / cities are pretty much safe, they take good care of turists specially internationals , and let me tell you there are people from all over the world. :) So Im pretty sure they look for it bfore heading to Mexico and just as a precaution you have to be very alert as you would be in any other city :) regards from México :)
