I was on this ship in June 2022. I spent each night at the wine bar only because I was traveling as part of a group of 7. Overall, I liked the ship. I found it impossible to do specialty dining because it was booked up before the cruise started. Looking forward to seeing your perspective.
My wife and I are booked on the Caribbean Princess for the eastern Caribbean itinerary, embarking on December 10th. First time for us on Princess, have only done Royal Caribbean in the past. It appears your embarkation was very quick and smooth, what time did you arrive at the pier? Any issues using the Medallion app & OceanNow? I've read where the app is a bit wonky. The ship itself looks very nice. I know it's an older vessel but it went through a dry dock renovation a few years back. We're also doing 1 night at each of the 2 specialty restaurants, what was your impression of them? And the food in general?
Yes, the embarkation was very quick as long as you already have your Medallion. For us, the app worked great. A few times when we used it to order drinks, we never received them, but all in all the app did work well. The specialty dinner was absolutely excellent at both places. We really were not a big fan of the buffet or the casual dinning. Even tho it looked good we were not impressed. Our favorite on the ship was the international cafe since we love our coffee. Overall we loved our cruise, I can't speak enough on the service we received from everyone on the ship. Enjoy your cruise on princess and It's a big YES! that we will be booking our next cruise with Princess.

Yes overall the ship is very nice considering it's an older ship. We had 2 nights reserved for the specialty dinning which I booked far in advance.
