In these hard, paranoia times, let’s have a satiric fun time! The Corona virus and Norwegians have a strange but familiar relationship. We should be safe due to being Master of Social distancing, but Norway is one of the countries most infected by the Covid 19 virus. Why is that and how do we cope? These an many other questions will be answered during this video. We are in a full lockdown and we are forced to stay with our family for, oh dear, for many weeks. For Norwegians this is normal, it happens every year during Christmas. And we know what to do and drink. Learn more about how an oil rich country grasp the opportunity and combine home office with and extreme vacation in our mountain cabins, being selfish, rich and egoistic. While our sick and old are in an isolation - all year long. Get insight into what kind of public places that must be open, so that we don’t fall into depression. Have a good laugh while trying to stay sane in a dangerous and challenging time.

Here in Australia people seem to believe that if you wrap yourself in reams of toilet paper you'll be immune LOL. Seriously though, my understanding is that the world is trying to "flatten the curve" or slow the transmission so health systems don't get so overwhelmed so quickly that they can't cope. So Norway's response makes perfect sense in light of 1000 plus cases, unpalatable as it may be to spend time with family...... Have fun with the beer, ciggies, bread, matpakke and hiking guys! Us Aussies need no excuse to drink, we'd drink at the opening of an envelope, so covid 19 will of course lead to even more binge drinking here. So cheers and skål !

Great vid!👍Here in Britain we've apparently decided that the traditional British stuff upper lip is the best foot forward,🧐 everything is still open! We've had some toilet roll panic buying but lots of people cried out "that's not cricket!" In spain we have the same situation of quarantine
and lack of toilet paper xD but we also have people wearing plastic bags. This night people all over the country went out to the balcony and aplauded as sign of support to our medical staff. Have a good quarentine boys and be safe.

I live alone and must be isolated from people due to ill health. My heart goes out to everyone who will have a hard time adjusting. At least it’s by choice and not forced on you as for some people!

You may be right about less pollution during the quarantines, although once over, the earth will have mountains of toilet paper rolls. Food delivery services will probably love this, although it's very tough on the elderly and those far from stores.

This is one of your most informative and funny videos yet. I love how brutally honest you are about the "Norwegian nature", lol! I think I must be part Norwegian because I am a happy loner (Mads cracked me up when he said "No problem!" I hear ya, Mads! 😉) I am very content self-isolating. I'm warm, have food, Netflix, CNN, social media, books to read, and my 2 indoor kitties to snuggle with. I work from home and go out once a week to do grocery shopping/run errands - but today I had groceries delivered/left OUTSIDE MY DOOR, Lysol sprayed or soaked cans, etc. items in water and antibacterial dishwashing liquid before putting them away. Glad I doubled up on toilet paper last week because the stores are completely out here in Atlanta of TP and Lysol/Clorox wipes and spray. 😳 I managed to score 3 cans of Lysol spray through Amazon Prime (whoo-hoo!!) Chewy.com delivers Tia and Chloe's food so I've got them covered. Americans are being told to self-isolate by the CDC, the govt., and by employers. Very interesting hearing you explain why Norway, of all places, is so rife with Coronavirus. Never thought about the rich Norwegians returning WITH Coronavirus from their Alpine ski vacations! YIKES!!You guys stay safe. We love you too! I'm watching your video where you're sitting by the sea eating shrimp on French bread smothered in a VAT of mayo 🤢🤮 (🎵🎶 This is summer in NorWA-A-AY!! 🎵🎶) Another favorite is "Learning Norwegian" in the park, where Mads is mooing like a wounded cow. @Tia Mia I have been self isolating for 17 years due to illness. I feel for people who don’t like being home bound but it’s not as bad as it probably seems. I don’t have TV and I depend on Ronald and Mads and others on YT to keep me entertained. I love them!

Tia Mia We don’t live that far from each other. I’m in coastal NC. I was lucky. Christ blessed me early into my disability with two cats, two barky people and a big green parrot. The barky people and I were together 13 years. When each of them died a part of me died too. I am very blessed now to have two barky people (and the same green parrot). We’ve been together three years and one of the two has been with me six years. It took me awhile to realize that Christ had not picked them out for me, but rather He had picked me out for them! Most people would not be able to cope with my Cockapoo. He is very high strung and probably why he was surrendered to the ASPCA when he was around 8 months. My other guy is a victim of abuse. He was 2 when he came to live with us. It took him a year before he would get on the bed with us. Even after three years he still prefers to sleep behind the bed. They are both spoiled rotten! I hope that my local hamburger place will not close due to the virus because we go through the drive through a couple of times a week to get hamburgers which they love. We made what may be our last outing today for the next four weeks or more depending on how things go. Our number of cases in NC went from 64 to 239 cases in two days. I feel certain that is due to more people being tested. Two weeks ago there were fewer than 240 tests available for the whole state. I pray people will take it seriously and self isolate otherwise the death toll will be as high as the death toll for the Spanish Flu of 1918. This virus is so contagious and it doesn’t discriminate by age as they first thought. Perhaps more deaths occur for adults older than 60 but 40% of cases are in people younger than 50. I was wondering how you guys were doing in this planetary quarantine. People in the southeastern U.S. are fighting in the stores for toilet paper, how that got to be THE item to hoard is beyond me. Nobody is getting diarrhea from this. I wish I had bought stock in a toilet paper company.

Here in Brasil we have been preparing for the coronavirus for some time! Unlike you, we are used to greetings, hugs, and we are poor country, but, we are also sympathetic to everyone! Hello again Ronald, thanks for the video! It made me laugh and i enjoy all the laughter i can get in my home isolated state :))). Things are getting bad here also, protein rich food is starting to become rare in supermarkets and city markets, also schools have been closed for a week and indefinetly now and Romania is currently having a political breakdown. But we remain strong! Vask hendene dine og bli sterk! Vi kan knuse korona :)). Ha det bra!

@@deborahmerkerson1145 Stores are already beginning to run out of specific types of food. All Chinese food items have stopped being imported in some supermarkets, for example, ginger. Pharmacies are probably not going to run out of medicine anytime soon but long queues are starting to become common. Thanks, good luck to you too.

I have to stay isolated due to bad health. I don’t even have company! The secret is to have things on hand to do that you like... reading, watching movies, etc. It can be a great time to rest and recharge. Thanks so much for the video. I put Corona on my shopping list. Yes we just started legal social distancing. The local icecream shop is closing and I went to get some pints, with mask, gloves and saniwipes, it was like being in a scary movie!!! Keep well you two you are a treasure! We are in this together! From very far away! :D love you too!
