Crib Swap should have been in here somewhere. The precon comes very low on single target removal, and Crib Swap is a Knight card (Changeling), which means you can recur it from the graveyard with Haakon.
I haven’t played MTG in over 20 years. I built this deck with a few missing pieces..it plays so well. Once I remembered how to play and got the mechanics of the deck going . Holy crap! When u get the board going, it plays so fun!
I don’t understand why you guys don’t have more subs and views! Other channels’ budget is too small, and some are even getting smaller 🙄 If I wanted it to be just slightly more powerful than a precon I would play the precon 😂 Keep up the great work guys! Though I typically change one or two things, your upgrades have proven time and time again to stand toe to toe with everything short of cEDH custom decks.
Enjoy the content. glad to see a deck tech that isn't 10-30 budget. I get that some folks need that, but there are those of us that have a bit more expendable income. I picked this pre-con up. sleeved it, and haven't touched it yet. My play group is just shy of cEDH for most decks, and a few actual cEDH when we wanna play the "race cars". I liked your take, and by in large, most of this felt like what i consider auto includes. I dont normally run etchings, but I look forward to giving it a try. Great tech, and keep em coming!
I have a question, why no Teferis ageless insight? I feel it would totally abuse that eminence trigger and give us better selection. Love the list, im doing upgrades myself and used yours as my starting point.
I think mostly because you already have enough card draw for this strategy. You don't have another way to end the game besides attacking so a 4 mana card that just make you draw one more card per trigger (once a turn) is very good but not enought o make the cut since it doesn't necessarely help you win the game in any form. I would maybe add if it also made you discard one more card? Idk.
@joaoarthurdemacedoschatzer2308 well, if you have more than 7 cards, you have to discard anyway - so the more cards you draw the more cards you can potentially discard... get it?
I added Sun Quan, Lord of Wu, although he is not a knight having a second source of horsemanship is great. Totally get why it's not part of a $300 package though.
I have been playing this deck for a month and it's been amazing , thanks! I was wondering if you had some ideas on updating this list? maybe some card or two released after this that works better than what's currently in the deck?
Great breakdowns!! Just so you know I Built all 4 of the 40k upgrade lists (300$) That yall did!!! 3 of them kick butt!!! So much fun, the only 1 I never could get to work was the Temur deck with +1s, ohh well. Good times, good times!!!
Question: I attack with Sidar Jabari, deal first strike damage to an opponent and reanimate Kinsbaile Cavalier. Sidar Jabari now has double strike and will deal damage again reanimating another target, correct?
That is correct! Here is the ruling about double strike. 702.4d Giving double strike to a creature with first strike after it has already dealt combat damage in the first combat damage step will allow the creature to assign combat damage in the second combat damage step.
hi guys i loved this video and i improved the deck up to 300$ by following your advice. I enjoy! do you have any suggestions for improvement to continue improving it ??? Otherwise you are doing a great job, keep it up
Little late to the party but honestly I would keep elenda and azor because after battle your drawing minimum 2 cards per turn and with kindred discovery that amount of draw generates a lot of vampire knight tokens which is one of the few ways to gain life
I added Martyr's Bond and Elesh Norn Mother of Machines it helps double those juicy effects that your knights bring and when your creatures die so do your opponents lol
Question about sth else: should I get the legends legacy or the all will be one corrupted precon? I play multiplayer and I’m afraid of being target with a poison deck but is that really gonna be so bad? What do you think?
Ultimately your call! Poison is frowned upon sometimes but it’s all what you feel like playing. Shane and Hunter both own poison decks and they enjoy playing them!
So this video doesn't include every addition shown in the video. Do I have to look at the Maxfield list for all the changes? Thank you for the video. I am learning how to build and play since a couple weeks ago.
This video is a continuation of the $100 Upgrade. Check the description down below to see that video as well as the Moxfield link to the entire deck (additions + the cards kept from the precon itself)
So i just came across this video last week and just saw the full deck profile on moxfield and I have a question: why no counterspells? Just not enough deck space for them and found better stuff? I’m still a novice with commander and magic so it’s odd to not see counter spells in a deck that has blue
While yes this deck has the element of blue and you can very much add counter spells into it, it’s very aggro and we want to be spending our mana elsewhere.
I am very new to MTG this is the very 1st commander deck that I have purchased and played my first game with it this week. I won with it in stock form. It is nice to see there are ways to make this deck even better. Thanks for making this video
Idk why i never see anyone add changeling outcast to this precon upgrade, 1 drop knight that cant be blocked to get in early triggering the eminence ability for sure is just gas imo, at that if anyone wants to burn their spot removal on the lil guy hey one less pointed at the more important creatures later in the game
im not agree with the upgrade is not bad,but there are several better cards and chapers, for example why Josu Vess, Lich Knight? is to expansive, you need to pay 10 mana , and you cant even cast the effect when you are returning the create to the battlefield with the commander and there are some card that should not be in this deck.

Thanks for the kind words! We will keep making the content you all love to see.
Definitely like seeing higher price upgrades. Not all of us are budget builders.
That’s why we do this series!
@@GuysThatMagicdo you know if we can have an unlimited budget build video for this deck?
Awesome deck, can’t wait to build! Steven never disappoints!!!
I added the new Heliod for his flip side. Gives all my knights flash and make all spells cheaper during opponents turns

Wow! Thanks for watching along and enjoying the builds!
One really fun card is hostile negotiations
Prob wont see this but what changes would you make to this deck now would you still keep the same cards or would you remove some of the for others?
instead of Evolving Wilds put in an Obscura Storefront, same effect, same rarity (common) but you gain 1 hp
I just bought this deck and was wondering what you thought about adding the nine nazgul?? I think adding in the ring tempts you might be pretty good.
Sounds like it could be a lot of fun!

Moonshaker Calvery. It's perfect for the deck. Putting it into play with your commander makes the ability go off immediately for your other creatures.
I would love to see a 500$ version as well
The price for this deck on moxfield is already $566. This basically is the $500 version
been waiting for this
Looked forward to this !!!

I love the poison deck. I bought it and did some upgrades. My playgroup didnt like poison but they got over it lol
@@Acidblack027 do you win with it or are you the target?
@@jontar5970 usually i win with it. Its not a huge threat early on and i try to poison them slowly so i get the ixhel triggers.
You can cut the sword, vorinclex, and smothering tithe to save $$$ and not really lose much honestly.
I know it's not a knight but grim hireling would rock it in this deck so well

Hello! Anyone has any experience with this upgraded deck? How well does it play?
Plays quite well! See it in action here: ruclips.net/video/rAot3WBEgro/видео.htmlsi=Vdi6uhbU4wk8eD1P
Anointed procession?
Is there a list somewhere of your build ??
Check the description for the moxfield link!
What about Wonder and Silverblade Paladin?

Glad you enjoyed! The deck is very powerful right out of the box and tuning it can be even scarier.
Let’s goooooooo. Thanks brooo so hyped
Enjoy!

2:39-2:42 They're called "defense" counters not "battle" counters.
$300 upgrade “swap out basic land for classic dual land”. That’s it. That’s the list”
a 750 upgrade now?! :P
Now you're getting crazy!
Bought it and im super down to put a lot of money in but dont know what? Deck strategy look so fun
No Door of Destinies?

No $300 upgrade for Divine Convocation?
It’s coming soon!
9 Nazgul ❤+ 1 call of the ring
Herald of Hoofbeats to make all knights unblockable. 80 cents for the extended version.
Comes already in the Precon!
No love for Mirror Entity? I fill all tribes should have it
deck needs Armageddon, Sunder, Cataclysm. You dont need mana once Sidar is down.
That’s a wild strategy haha. Would be a bummer if someone killed Sidar in response
$300 upgrade? Sheesh
Thanks for this!
