You should try out skinks as Oxyotl's campaign but on Tenny as a confederated lord. He gives the chameleon stalkers 40 physical resistance, Oxys faction buffs and soteks roids. Slap on some red tree and the stalkers with red crests delete everything
Oh God that made me feel dirty thinking about it.

@@mexicanweaboo Loaded my current game to see the stats of the ROR Cohort of Sotek on Tenny who currently has the grimsbane trait as well as 2 disciplined heroes.
The main stats are 70 armor, 73 melee attack and 69 melee defence. Its a lot of fun.

easily my favorite unit added in this DLC. i slept on them at first but soon discovered how OP they are.

I thought I would be disapointed with this unit. But turns out they delete light infantry.
I liked that Rango reference. The music fitted their running gait - their tails swung side to side - which I liked most of all.

As someone who hasn't played since the previous update, seeing some new Lizzy Bois shoot exploding rockets out of a blowpipe at a war mammoth, totally annihilating them is insane beyond words.

All the memes aside, are stalkers actually worth having or are they more for thematic armies?
They are good in multiplayer, and they work well as a shock skirmish unit in campaign. Imagine like using them as shock cavalry, but you leave them in the fight. So flank around and rear charge, get the leadership debuff, and continue fighting until you break the enemy unit.

I can't believe you've done this without doing Clan Eshin 19 Gutter Runners first since they're sorta similar.
They are not so similar. Gutter Runners are real skirmish units. Like regular Skink Chameleon. Chameleon Stalkers have a lot less ammo, less range but higher damage and are way better at melee combat. They are more like a light infantry with a limited range attack.
What Leo said. You can use oxyotl with skink chameleons and skirmish the crap out of everything, that does work, yeah, but skink stalkers have a tiny range, no skirmish mode, and deal a *lot* of damage. They're essentially skink cohorts (javelin) with a lot more damage and stealth at a higher price tag. You can micro them in skirmishing, which is effective, but they don't have very much ammo so eventually you commit to the formation breaking first volley and then crash the skinks in.

Not many effort with oxoytl. Almost every buff are faction or legendary lord buff. So you juste have to give a few level to Oxoytl. With him going full Skink is the way to go.

I bring like 5-7 of them in an army and throw then at the enemy with skirmishes support, to weaken it, when they're about to die/ break I send in the bigger lizards or dinos if I have them.
This is why I subscribed, for contents like this
