There are many companies even today that are in America but put made in Japan or elsewhere just because they get ingredients from the product imported from another country. For the good guy dolls it might be the internal hardware that runs there voice lines and animations or even just the stuff to make the plastic

About the clean look of the dolls: in this story a filmstudio created versions of the actual dolls found at the cemetery..so these aren't the actual dolls. Also when Chucky and Tiff wake up, Tiffany says "We had make-overs!" It explains why the dolls look a bit off...and it makes perfect sense within the story. So glad you two enjoyed the movie and see it for what it wants to be Oh and the music is composed by the great Pino Donaggio who was very populair in the 70's ( so you heard that right) Donaggio also composed great music for Brian DePalma's Carrie and Dressed To Kill and my favorite: Piranha . So yes he has that sound still from way back then, and you love it or not, that's just a matter of taste. Thanks for the film reaction, I enjoyed it!
1: This came out when I was born. 2: I remember when I was like 12 or 13, I was at my cousin's house and he put this on. I was watching the opening scene and I was terrified. Now that I look back at it, it was such an amazing shot. Before all the scary stuff happened(like the deaths), my cousin was asked to turn this off so at least I was not traumatized for life. 3: The opening scene is the most memorable for me along with other Chucky scenes. I remember when a lady opened the Chucky doll but the batteries were not there, I remember the death of a babysitter who fell to her death in the first movie and other ones. 4: I love the new Chucky tv series.
The fact that Tony Gardner was the puppet supervisor on Seed of Chucky and he died in the movie while helping make chucky goes psycho 😅 EDIT: And that the movie wasn’t even filmed in Hollywood
Chucky has no bad movies. In Seed of Chucky, Chucky FINALLY realized that he has more advantages as a Doll than being human. And i'm soooo happy for that!

The 2019 remake should not be counted IMO. It wasn’t that bad it’s just a “ what if Chucky was this way” kinda thing. But it was its own thing, like someone else said it’s not canon and isn’t on the series timeline which confirmed all the movies cannon except the remake.
My fav meta thing about this movie is that the first Chucky and tiff kill actually was the puppet guy that stuck through the franchise from the first movie. Tony something I can’t remember his name 😭

Might be a long shot, but would be fun especially since chucky wants Tiffany dead, he may have recruited Tiffany's mom without telling her his plan. STRIKE THAT! Just watched as Chucky said he killed her mom 20 years prior to these events. I've been watching a lot of classic horror franchises lately. Elm Street, Riday the 13th, Scream, Halloween, and Child's Play. And I have to say, I think my favorite horror films are ones that have major comedy elements to them. Or at least ones that embrace the camp. Because the camp was always in Child's Play, and they embraced it for Bride and Seed and I love it. It's why I love Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, and Ash vs Evil Dead so much. They take the unintentional camp from the original film and exaggerate it. Yhough Army of Darkness could have used more blood and gore. And out of the horror franchises I've mentioned here, Child's Play is my favorite (behind Evil Dead). And it's because of the comedy/camp element to it. Some of the later Elm Street films embraced the camp and those are pretty solid, but then Final Nightmare comes along and exaggerated it a bit too much. And of course the show is just amazingly stupid. But no matter how campy Elm Street gets, it doesn't reach the levels of Child's Play or Evil Dead in terms of overall enjoyment, actual horror, or comedy. I also checked out the Exorcist franchise recently (haven't seen the show yet), and while the first film was VERY underwhelming, extremely boring, and just not good at all, the series got better with each film. Brad Dourif evens shows up for the third one, which is cool. And the series is more drama than anything else with light horror elements, and I actually love that, too. Particularly in Exorcist 2, 3, Beginning, and Dominion. Though Beginning and Dominion are basically the same exact film. Like seriously. I don't if know if they planned on making two films so similar to one another with a year between them, or if they planned for one movie but realized they had enough material left over for another movie, but god damn. Some of the sets are even the exact same. But both films are good despite their overwhelming similarities. And then Mike Flanagan's movies and shows are character pieces with some drama and mystery elements, and they're amazing. So I think I just prefer horror when the horror takes a back seat to other tones and styles because I find straight horror to usually be pretty fucking bad.
A lot of people praise the dolls in the tv show for having the smoothest movements, but I miss the robotic feel of the old dolls so much, the new ones just feel fake. Also I want Tiffany to look like this again so badly, I think Tiffany in the show looks better than chucky, but they still did her dirty.
Question, since now we know Tiffany switched with Jennifer and Jennifer is in the doll's body. what happened to the souls of the babies? If Glen and Glenda switched with the babies, shouldn't they be in the Glen doll? But we saw the doll recently and it wasn't moving. Technically shouldn't there be 4 kids out there that are Chucky's kids?
Personally this movie is the worst in the series for me as I personally expected more but the script went through multiple rewrites and the movie was originally titled son of chucky. To me it was wasted potential of the kid being more eviler than chucky himself
Rewatching this film just makes me feel more sorry for Jennifer in the series. I also kinda prefer Tiffany as the doll, hopefully we’ll see her again but I think the series might be her last appearance.

Although I love the originals (even 2 and 3 to a small extent) when I think of Chucky, I think of Bride and Seed. I LOVE Mancinis vision, and regardless of whether it lands with you or not, he had a clear direction he wanted to go and did it. I respect it immensely.
Though Seed still places 6th in my ranking of the Chucky movies(not counting the remake), it's still a good time. Half the body fluids, and remove a few jokes, and I would place it above Cult. But it has aged like good cheese, still a bit smelly and devisive but better than ever.
I dont like the comedy from season 2 But for some weird reason i still loves Seed, maybe because i saw that movie when i was 10 years old so its my childhood ( I just love Tiffany so much
Seed is my least favorite followed by cult but I appreciate Glen/Glenda a little more as I get older. More a fan of the horror serious side of the franchise, but I can still have fun with it.

Seed of Chucky 10/10
It was so campy.
The perfect so bad it's good movie lol it's a lot of dumb fun and i'm all for it!
Though Seed still places 6th in my ranking of the Chucky movies(not counting the remake), it's still a good time. Half the body fluids, and remove a few jokes, and I would place it above Cult. But it has aged like good cheese, still a bit smelly and devisive but better than ever.
I dont like the comedy from season 2
But for some weird reason i still loves Seed, maybe because i saw that movie when i was 10 years old so its my childhood
( I just love Tiffany so much
Seed is my least favorite followed by cult but I appreciate Glen/Glenda a little more as I get older.
More a fan of the horror serious side of the franchise, but I can still have fun with it.
My least favorite, and caused some weird plot holes that comedy can't fill @_@

Movie is decent it's not terrible as most call it. It's just a comedy Don didn't take this movie seriously until curse which then again Not terrible not great either 👍🏽
