⚡ 💀 💕 /🔺 When their producer Koba asked the BABYMETAL members what kinds of things they wanted to do on stage, Su said that she would like to fly. So they came up with the pyramid idea. Apparently, none of the members are afraid of heights. They said the most difficult thing was to stick to the choreography, when they really wanted to wave to the fans below. : )
Nice one, thanks! Yes, the stage design is probably an homage to Iron Maiden's Powerslave album cover with the sphinx and everything (turned into foxes, of course). Unlike at Budokan 2014, they had some more security here: railings and a lifeline in the center of the pyramid (they were most likely wearing climbing harnesses). Even Su's mic had a wristband safety chord. It's not okay to end a kitsune by a mic fall. 😅 🤘🦊
Nice reaction! "The One" is the most beautiful prog rock song, that is a love letter at the same time, I´ve ever heard! This performance is the most amazing one, IMHO. They used a slightly different version of the studio audio for this official MV. It sounds even more awesome live, tho, you´re right 😉 You can recognize this concert, besides the stunning stage setup, by the very special costumes they wore. All three have a tail on their tutus, that happened at this arena concert only. Su-Metal had a "tailed" tutu with the Tokyo Dome Black NIght concert (and the shoulder feathers like she had with her Budokan 2014 costume. Beautiful combination!), but Yuimetal and Moametal hadn´t. Yuimetal (I believe) said in an interview that it was very hard for them to stick to the choreo, instead of waving to all the people they were hovering over, and to the people on the balcony. So precious 😊
Nice one and well done coming back with the 'official video' and the half and half Japanese-English version so soon as well. That floating pyramid over the crowd was quite special ... and the Sphinx-like Fox heads were real (as were the crowd), no CGI there.🦊🦊🦊
There are a few MV where they do have a set or at least film on a location (Instead of a concert) however, there's not many. Most are either live concert footage with studio audio layered over, quite well if I say, or just pure live video and live audio. The one you're thinking of for next time is Ratatata with Electric Callboy, which before I got to the end was likely going to be my suggestion, well, either that one or Ijime, Dame, Zettai at Sonisphere 2014.
Every time I see the epic scale of this performance it blows my mind. I can't even imagine the logistics of setting up this flight over the crowd. No fear of heights if you're in Babymetal.

👍👍Thank you BABYMEAL for all the Love you show The One😊. 🦊 🖖❤
Nostalgic footage... The original three all like heights. I don't at all, haha. Thank you from Japan.

Nice reaction! They used footage from their show at Yokohama Arena in December 2015 to put together the MV (this stage with the 3 Fox Gods).

😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I'm going to be at their arena show in London next summer and I am hoping so much they finish the main set with this.
