It was obvious that the 380 was never going to sell in huge numbers as it had/has a niche it the market that is probably more relevant now than it was 15 years ago, it would of been great to have seen another 50 or so units but unfortunately that didn't happen, I imagine some of the carriers that gave up on the type during Covid perhaps made the wrong decision, in the meantime its still very very popular with passengers and will hopefully be around for a good few years. BA obviously have confidence in the type due to impending upgrades, a majority of Middle East carriers are operating the 380 as it was intended to be used. For those who are critical of the type, book a ticket to fly on one there's nothing else like it .
