Bro this is so 🔥. You’ve gotten so good at this in such a short time. And bc of this ur the best on YT. Keep doing your thing my guy and blessing the world with this gold. You’re growing the sport and elevating the competition level. That’s a beautiful thing. EYGM Gang 🙏🏼
Amazing analysis! Im sure you wish the footage was better in a lot of these clips so that you can better show the set up and adjustments that the wrestlers make. Some higher frame slow motion shots and tighter shots on the wrestlers would help so much. I am very impressed with what you can extract from these clips. I personally was struggling to see the foot movement even when you were circling the action in red since it seemed like the real action was happening in the hands and upper torso.
Tell him he’s unreal man. I watch a lot of wrestling and you don’t see too many guys with this variety of offense who’s also very efficient at all of it. Hope you guys are having a great offseason
The Overtie Post snatch looks like an Overtie slide by done half way. You know Irina Ringaci? She has an unique Overtie slide by uchimata where she grabs the far lat to pull instead off the Overtie. Nedealco is also doing similar technique but from the 2on1
Just want to say, ive seen your videos breaking down some great athletes. I also saw that you posted a comment on a video about making "christian redpill" content. I think that is a worthy endeavor and would watch soem of those videos. In the mean time, can we get a video about Vito Arujau? Dude's an animal 😅
I noticed on the over-tie slide-by that most of the time he's hitting it when his opponents have a lefty collar tie. Isn't that unusual i.e. usually righties reach for right collar tie? Is that something he's creating with the way he initiates the tie-up (I see a lot of collar wrist)?
I never wrestled and I love watching these breakdowns and videos man. Really let’s me appreciate the sport by understanding the competition and the nuance of the sport. EARN YOUR FUCKING MEDAL!!
I'm the opposite - I'm a life long wrestler and coach... and I am still amazed by his insights and technical analysis. I'd like to think I'm already pretty knowledgeable, but I learn something from every one of these videos. Absolutely top notch work! Thanks Coach!
The claw mat return is vicious and can break your opponent if you do it more than once. It is also not that hard to do. A modified claw return can be used in freestyle when your opponent is in a quadpod position and won't put a knee down. It is less likely to get you back exposure, but can be used to secure the takedown.
I'm not sure what's more impressive: how well put-together and executed Smith's offensive set is ... or how good this breakdown is at explaining it. Awesome work.
3:30 Brooo the overtie post snatch single is also used in hapsagai ( Yakutian Wrestling) they're not allowed to drop theirs knees in the floor so they use these types of attacks. Happy to see it across a different folkstyle wrestling
The Most underrated creator on RUclips
This video creator is going to be one of the greatest wrestling coaches of all time. I’m calling it now in 2023.
Thank you. That's the goal
This is my favorite wrestling channel. Thank you for the videos. Definitely giving me thoughts about how to organize my wrestling offense.
I consider myself privileged to have discovered your channel.
Super underrated love your stuff man
Thank you

You could base your whole coaching on this
Yeah man he’s such a complete wrestler and he’s only going to get better

Is that a kimura grip? Is that legal in high school?
I abuse those opp duck setups

Great presentation! Loved your editing and pacing of the multiple examples...really got the point across. His feet are lethal. Thanks
I love the fact more and more wrestling channels are popping up on my feed, the more the merrier. Great for the sport, you got another sub.
Excellent! He has a serious arsenal, so fluid for a heavier weight.
