oh my. I said the very thing you did when doing the tour du MOnt Blanc- "If we are going up there, why do we have to go down, around, down, up, down,Up, up, up, up, up" some beautiful views
Thank you. It does not make sense to me either to go up, then down, only to go back up. On the other hand mountains are made out of rocks so they are everywhere. You saw wildflowers!!!!
You can see the struggle that life has to survive in a hostile environment. The contrast between the burnt out trees standing and the green undergrowth is beautiful.
I really feel for you, Julia! I guess it is a good thing you're stopping at the Columbia River. Section K is the hardest section on the PCT from Stevens Pass to Rainy Pass in the North Cascades. I've been on the start of K but never gone that far (125 miles give or take a few miles) The most difficult are the river crossings and the 26,351 feet of gain, as well as 25,552 feet of elevation loss along this section.
You had a day of what are called PUDS - pointless ups and downs. Sometimes you just want to meet the person(s) who created the trail section so you can smack them upside the head and ask them WTF were they thinking.
@@Maryojeda62 I see you are planning on doing the PCT next year. Good for you! I'm looking at 2025/2026 since I have to retire first. I'll be an old man on the trail.
@@rickkaylor8554 good for you. I’m 60, young at heart and still can put 1 foot in front of the other😂 will be retiring at 62😁😁 I’m only hiking section A. This my last try. Failed this past April at mile 15😭 so that’s where I got my trail name😁 I’ll be much better prepared next April 👍👍
I only have the one trekking pole and my tripod in my left hand all day 😅 it was too annoying to put the phone away, get the trekking pole, then put that away as soon as I see something to film 😅 so that’s why I am just using the one pole 😁
Great parts today. Thanks for another update.
Beautiful footage.
Thank you 😁 it was a great section 🤩
Loved the chipmunk 😂🤣
🐿😁🤩 they are so cute
the good timeshare so much sweeter after the tough times...thank yu!
The green and wildflower sections look more like Spring than the middle of Summer. Looks nice.
It was a great section 🤩👍🏻
Beautiful even if not recovered from fire.

Makes no sense to me 😂😂
Nice vistas...do the dew 😁🤠
Always the DEW 🥤🤤😂
All your hard work hasn't gone unnoticed. Thank you for the views 🦋❤
You are welcome 😁🤩

Burnt forests are the saddest. And blow downs really suck. The flowers were the greatest and bugs are fine as long as they stay away.
I added bugs to my hate list ☝🏻😩😬
@@juliasadventurevlog good call
DAM these Rocks
Damn all of them 🤬😬

That is true 👍🏻
Good job!
Thank you 💪🏻🤩
Is called the Pacific ( Crest ) Trail. If it was easy, anyone could do it. This is what makes you so special! All you PCT hikers!
I know that 😬 but I still like to complain about it 😂😂😂😂😂

Stay tuned for my upcoming adventures 😅
Have you tried listening to soft rock music while hiking in talus field?
I listen to all kinds of music: country, pop, heavy metal, rock 😁 and audiobooks 🤩

You made it to camp! Can I ask…why do you use only one walking stick? Or do you take the other out when you put the camera away? Just curious!
She anyways has a soda in the other hand 🤣🤣😏😏

@@juliasadventurevlog the tripod is heavy! You are building arm strength, too!
@@juliasadventurevlog because you are awesome and can multitask 😬😬😬😬
Es heisst ja Pacific CREST Trail und nich Pacific VALLEY Trail 😊
Das weiß ich, aber es nervt mich trotzdem 😂😂😂
