How to Download Images from Google Docs (Extract Google Document Images)

In this video, I'll quickly show you how to download all of your images from within a Google Doc. This method is fast, simple, requires no technical skills and gets you a single folder with all of your images from the Google Document in a matter of seconds. Ever since the functionality was removed from Google Docs to right-click and download individual images directly within a document (and was recently replaced by "saving to your Keep folder"), it hasn't been as easy to download just a single image from your Google Docs.

Before viewing your video, I tried to find the answer myself and failed... which included searching the Docs help system. Either I'm an idiot or the system is designed to be more like an explorative game that challenges users to find features by trial-and-error. :-)

​@@RyanRobinson fyi... Viewing your video has also prompted me to explore inserting images in Doc files as way to get free image storage in Drive. I store a lot of paper receipts in my gdrive... either as Image or PDF files. In those formats, it eats up quota when there's a lot of them. As far as I can tell, the image quality declines progressively with the number of images in a Doc. I inserted about 30 paper documents with text on them into one Doc file and then used your tip to extract them. The quality of the extracted images was way lower than the original. So long as I kept the number of images lower than 10 or so, it seems to keep the quality reasonable. Interesting.
