Google docs is a free word processor from Google. Google Docs doesn't require the installation of software on your computer. You can use Google Docs on your internet browser at docs.google.com
There is also an app available for iOS and Android for Google Docs.
Another way to access google docs is from google drive. When you create a Google account, you automatically get google drive. All google docs, google sheets, google forms, and google slides are stored inside of that Google Drive.

You can start with a blank document or you can choose from a Google Docs template.
After creating a new Google Docs file, you should name the file. By default, it is called an untitled document.
After naming it, you should move it to the folder inside of your Google drive by using the folder icon.
You can use Google Docs to collaborate with other people, on the same document at the same time.
When starting on a document, you can have it in editing mode.
Next, you can style your document using different fonts, font sizes, and font colors.

this is a very good tutorial for google docs, I needed to write document in google docs, but I didn't know this program, but after this video, I understood how this program works and now I can easily write documents in it. this is a very clear tutorial, I understood all at the first time, so I advise it to everyone who doesn't know about google docs.

I used MS word all this time and never paid any attention to Gdocs UNTIL NOW! You did a great job in this video layout and pacing. This perfect for a few foldk I know who do not hav eMS word and we need to share doc info and I love the live collab feature whoch I can use so no longer need to do a Zoom mtg sharing my screen and typing everyone else's comments- now I can get them to do it.

Again, excellent tutorial on a very useful utility. Up until recently, I've been using MS Word and LibreOffice. However, all the faffing around with conversions of file formats, uploading and retrieving on multiple platforms - iOS, Windows and Android - it seemed about time to make the switch to a cloud based, multi-platform, document creation and storage solution.

Thank you for your work in producing this guidance. When I go to Google Docs and open a new document, I don't have the full user interface with all menus and options... it is a very limited document editing screen that appears...what am I doing wrong?
