taeha, when you do the typing test could you make the text a bit bigger? Its really hard to see it when it is in that little window, there is a setting for it on the setting page on the monkey-type website

Honestly, I'm so bummed that I don't get to catch you live, man! Our timezones are so different, and waking up for work won't allow me to pull an all-nighter to tune in. Currently hardcore saving for a KBD8x MKII Polycarb. Got the GMK Laser keycap set and polycarb plate from Project Keyboard. Not sure what switches to commit to since it's a soldered pcb build. I have a year to think about it, but suggestions? :D

Great design bad execution. I really hope there is gonna be another revision of it before it goes to GB. I was so hyped by the weight design but your review and Tae one did scared me. It not like we have not any other choices 👍

innet addressed these issues, Taeha received a v1 proto and since then, inet have fixed all the issues mentioned in this video.

Taeha was too worried about people thinking it is from self gratification, but forgets that what could the cats have smushed onto the mat. Probably came from the back end. Wash your hands and sanitize everything you touched after that. Use Listerine and sanitize mouth.

like the front view but the backside is just waaaay to overloaded. love the raised logos coming kinda out of the weight but the “Designed by...” lettering inside the rectangle under square.x logo is the first nay + the “bridge” between the 2 logos is ugly too. Would have put both logos inside one compartment.

recommend tips or pages to improve my typing speed
Type nonstop for a relatively long period of time: at least longer then 10mins, and try to maintain your speed. You can search up random articles and just type them down, and always prioritise accuracy instead of speed. Try to do at least one run everyday. If you haven't learnt touch typing yet you must, a tip is to cover your hands with cloth so you can't see them. And lastly just practice, practice and practice.

Do what Luke H said. 5-10min nonstop sessions at a constant speed. Focus on accuracy because accuracy is by far the most important factor in getting your speed up. I’d also add to do a few shorter 30-60sec sessions where you’re working on burst speed.
I started “relearning” how to touch type and get my speed up 2 months ago. I had a serious arm injury when I was younger and had to drastically change how I typed. I started off around 40-50wpm with 88-90% accuracy, and now I’m at 95-105wpm with 96-100% accuracy.

with the size of that plate its basically integrated. still one of the cleanest aesthetics.
