    I feel like BigTime is going to steal a lot of their thunder by being first with a AAA game out and also integrating other AAA titles into their marketplace which may have cross-game operability in some way. By not focusing on driving hype throughout development they seem to have just hammered at making a quality product and letting that speak for them now.

      @danny_7620 2 года назад +1

      Just my opinion, BigTime looks very boring and as far as AAA goes, they are very bottom of the barrel.

      @@danny_7620 Yeah I feel it is most likely a gameplay thing. I am of the same opinion of the auto battler and exploration for Illuvium. There is no action just idle gameplay and exploration. I do hope Illuvium is a success though I know people invested a lot into it.

    If I ask about a subject, can you tell me the estimated price 3 years later, what is the price of the atlas token as a value?

      I think this would be speculation on my part but if I was to see the time and work involved behind the scenes after 3 years then I could make a value judgement

    Hi mate, nice video.
    But let me explain something to you. I'm a long-time player...and I always had to buy my call of duty if I want to play, and even these days you need to pay for everything in the call of duty, so pay to play always exist.
    In case you don't know me, I'm in SA since day one, and the message was always the same, the game will be released in 5 a 7 years (final product)...BUT until them we are going to release modules where the players CAN USE the ships that already have bought, this is the part that people from Illuvium don't want to understand. It's true that I bought the ships before the final game, BUT is true that I already have a return since SCORE (mini game released in December 2021). So no one that bought ships is losing money. The strategy of SA was to dissolve the supply of atlas to the players, if you have a ship you will have a % of ATLAS.
    Another thing that you guys don't understand is that SA is a game for guilds, our guild has 5500 players at the moment, with an assets valuation of 6 Million, so complaining that Animocabrands has 3 Million on assets in the ocean of 200 Million was a bit ridiculous.
    The CEO of Illuvium was showing lack of information from the first minute to the last, and when Michael ask him directly: why do you think that about SA?: the answer of the CEO of Illuvium couldn't be worst: "My friends told me & and read comments on youtube" these were the arguments of a CEO that go to a debate.???
    To finalise, in our side, to tell the true we couldn't care less with what Illuvium does. What I realise after watching the debate a few times, was the interest of CEO of Illuvium in knowing the names of the devs of SA, and look like he is trying to fish some of them :) For a project that was already hacked, the CEO was very confident and not educated for the position of CEO, that makes me think, if that guy is the CEO of the company, how should be the other guys that are below him in the other departments. (I don't even want to imagine).
    I believe that a lot of people has jealousy regarding Star Atlas: We have amazing partnerships, we have the support of FTX, SOLANA, we did an Amazing partnership with The Sandbox.
    But time will tell, I believe in them, I'm there since the team were 4 people, today they have 230 people working for the project.
    I wish all the best for ALL Web3 games!! Cheers

      Thank you for your comment, I see you really thought alot about this. From my perspective I think it's good that projects communicate with each other about ethics for web 3 crypto games. As someone new myself, I spent 3k on an NFT from champion assencion which is now only worth a few hundred dollars. Maybe using stable coins instead of ETH would fix the buyers remorse of many people that are over paying with high gas. But to your point. Star atlas could very well be the top crypto game in the future because of it's very ambitious road map. Only time will tell. I think Micheal and Kieran found common ground in the debate. Kieran is worried about ethics and over promising which could hurt crypto players, and Micheal defended his position about modules for early alpha access. Illuvium players internally were at odds with the debate because we don't want negative, cocky or bullying to be our motto to other web 3 projects. But I think if you saw how Kieran treats his siblings who are also founders, you might see the SA / illuvium debate as two brothers trying to work out the confusion going around. And look, Micheal was very articulate and educated in his response, he really defended SA, but I think going forward, this sets the standards and ethics of other web 3 games to mimic.

    It's not true that the game won't be playable for 5-7 years. That's only the UE5 game completion timeline. They're releasing modules bit-by-bit along the way. Also there's a browser version of the game being built codenamed SCREAM that's due out sometime this year. SCREAM will be the first official game release that will be playable until the UE5 version is ready.

    Isn't Illuvium pay to win? You can buy Illuviums on the market and make your team stronger.

      I believe you are talking about illuvitars, illuvitars is cosmetic they will not help you ingame they are there to Flex that's it. Illuvails you have to catch them and build your team it's completely neutral but if you don't want to spend the time catching them you can buy them on the illuvdex or how ever you spell it ..AKA auction house.

    I say this all the time, but the fact of the matter is that p2e will never work without p2w. People just need to understand that there are classes coming in the future of gaming, and the sooner you get comfortable with that, the better off we will all be. Doesn't mean anybody can't work their way up, just as they do in the real world, and somebody could come in with nothing, and become a p2w whale. That is my two cents on the matter. This utopian dream in gaming of balance and equal progression for all is a myth that is impossible to achieve. Everyone will have equal opportunity, it doesn't mean that everyone will progress equally.

    The reason why I didn't invest in ILV is because of ILV Zero. Seriously I wanted to sign up for Pokemon not a clash of clans/sim city clone. You know instead of selling lands or badges. Why not sell the actual Illuvials with different rarities? First edition Pokelluvials would sell like hotcakes... but nope. We got land and a clash of clans clone. They should have take notes on Axie. Sell the axies first, land second.

    • @metsrus

      you need to do more research my guy. Illuvium studios is coming out with ILV Zero and Overworld/Arena. ILV Zero is not even the main game.

    • @bookerdewitt3854
      @bookerdewitt3854 2 года назад

      @@metsrus I kinda know that. ILV Zero should never have been a feature at least not yet. Sell the Illuvials before the land. Rare first edition illuvials with rare skins is what I want as an NFT. Not land. They do that, then I might try to reconsider because the auto battler arena is awesome.

    • @metsrus
      @metsrus 2 года назад

      @@bookerdewitt3854 You're entitled to your opinion but nothing wrong with selling lands first. Lands produce resources and fuel needed to travel and capture Illuvials in the Overworld game. Let's say you produce fuel in ILV Zero and keep some of that to play in the Overworld game. Plus you can only get rare skins in the ILV Zero game.

    • @MrShartly
      @MrShartly 2 года назад

      Na bro you're missing the point. You don't need to own land to play the game. They sold land to the most loyal investors and for a cash influx. The land shouldn't have any effect on your enjoyment of the overworld and the autobattler. Land in illuvium will allow landholders to sell gas and to make some profit. The whole ecosystem is based around what the players generate.
