When nishi dies his spirt leaves his body and walks on the hospital floor where he sees a line similar to when they wr kids he walks on the line and it leads to heaven .. half way along the line itou was sitting on the line waiting for nishi then they embrace each other and runs towards heaven later

Don't ever leave Yuki again Akira or it is on sight.
For real. I understand the motivation behind Akira's actions, after societal pressure and established norm can be a real beast to face. However, by the same token, once you make that choice and without warning destroy a loved one in the process, you have eat those consequences. You shouldn't just think you have the right to come back. If Yuki went seeking him on his own it's one thing, but he went seeking Yuki, which meant another emotional jolt to his system. If it weren't for the fact that Yuki's literal soul was dying without him, I personally would have wished Akira suffered the pain of Yuki being able to move on with someone else. Yuki's suffering was... ugh!!!.
I just wish Yuki could have been mad at him a little bit longer, like come on be angry at him some more Make him work for it

This was the beautifullest drama I have ever seen I swear I cried a pool of tears when Akira said 'let's break up' i said so loud "THE FCK DID YOU SAY IM SORRY BUT THE DOOR IS ON YOUR RIGHT MY BOI DESERVES BETTER"cursed him so much thinking how can he just put his 10 years relashionship aside and what he truly feels inside aside and try to 'fit into society' and try to be what they think is 'normal' just cos you have diffrent feelings from others that makes you abnormal? This drama truly teached me a lot never have I thought that our society differentiate lgbt people so much they start to question themselves and their future. AND OMG you-don't realise how much i screamed when I saw hao ting and yu shi gu 😭😭 IM still in tears that is the ending I imagine for modc and will keep 😭amazing drama for real and thank you so much for this video I really do appreciate.

With this drama I saw a lot of people bashing Akira, which he kind of deserved but I really appreciate Akira. His whole life his mom kept saying 'normal', 'normal', 'normal' and he thought as long as he lived normally he won't have any problems. He's learned all his life the comfort of 'normal' how people will treat you, how others will see you, how they will accept you and so forth. Then Yuki came into his life and showed him a new normal, a true normal that would allow Akira to live normally and happily as he so pleases. But with everyone around him living 'normal' lives he starts to question his idea of normality. Then with Honoka coming back he struggles with that idea which makes him fall back into his comfort of 'normal' which results in Akira and Yuki's break. This drama really portrayed the feels that a lot of people go through who's parents want them to live 'normal' lives and the feels they feel when they think they strayed too far from society's 'normality'. The actor for Akira conveyed those feelings so well and it just makes me appreciate Akira even more because not only did he see his wrongdoings, he tries to fix them and he finally stands up to his mother about living 'normally'. Not a lot of people choose their normal but society's.

I agree with you. And i think with drama adding the Akira's family in the picture is really good move. I read the manga first but I felt like it's not enough character development there. But when I watched the drama, I finally understand how Akira suddenly decided to break up with Yuuki, even though he loves him so much. But he really deserved that punch from Yuuki 🤣 Shirasu Jin is such a good actor that he managed to convince me to love and hate Akira at the same time 💕

Saw the movie, own the manga... It is easily one of my absolute favourite Japanese BL stories because it is so real. The struggles, fears...everything. Really wonderful FMV eventhough the song has been throughly overused by now (I don't think there is a single fandom left that hasn't used "Lovely")

I literally just finished this show 3 seconds ago and this is on my recommend. But honestly this story was so beautiful and I loved and cried every second.
This is like my favorite Japanese BL. Not only did it showed discrimination in Japan, but how men, in japan, are afraid of coming out because of what their parents might think. In Japan, we were always taught to be “normal” to have a job, find a wife, have a child, grow old. This is the norm for japanese people.
But there are actually a lot of Japanese people who are too afraid of coming out of that box. They’re afraid of not being labeled as “normal”.

how they met is so beautiful for me cuz it was like destiny brought them together. it was unexpected both of them was in their own world.
How they wanted to be together even though they didn't cared about any future but later on the world told them to be normal and had to face the harsh reality where the other one broke and fell off from the relationship because of the pressure from family,society and the world.
while trying to be normal or trying to live the life like his parents wanted he forgot to be happy in his life and later he knew he shouldn't care about the others he should live his life according to him and according to what makes him happy.
In the end it doesn't matter what others thinks and wants
it matters what YOU want and what makes you HAPPY
