I bought my 53 qt. Costway Fridge/Freezer in Apr. 2020 for $288,00 and it's still running great ! Much different design tho... yours has some nice features !
Seriously one of the best, in-depth reviews I have seen on RUclips (ordered this unit today because of this review). Would luv to see more. It has been 5 months now, have you thought of giving us an update on this unit? Would also be interested in viewing additional reviews of various products. Thanks!
I've had mine several months now and love it. Works great! The only thing I wish I could do better is keeping the temperature for the "freezer" section at a point that doesn't freeze the non-freezer section.
I have the same one. They use very little power. The only things I dont like is that the lid doesn't close automatically. I guess that's to insure it is actually closed. I only made that mistake once. Also, the 12v plug is sketchy. I use a jackery primarily. A couple of times I've had to adjust the connection. Now I just keep a an eye out. That sucks. Otherwise, its totally sturdy and keeps its temperature. As long as you keep the things that require a cooler temp on the bottom. And dont stuff it with bags of vegies!!!! It blocks the cool air from reaching the top.
@@Ruxt619 The 500. I also use the solar panels to charge the battery. Not great on smoky or cloudy days. But jackery now has an adapter to connect two 100 w portable solar panels. Good luck!
@@frnkto69 It depends on how much you use the fridge. Or how often you charge and how. I get about 12 he a charge because I charge other things on my Jackery. And I turn off the unit overnight.
Shit cost $400.00 plus tax got so mad when they sent me the email. No help at all you would think they would care about the customer but all they cared about was taking my hard earn money.
Very low tone presentation makes it hard to want to follow. Background music does not help as well. Fast moving video, higher & more sturdy voice would make a much more interesting presentation. Thanks 👍

I love my costway fridge, works great.
I was just looking at this today! I might pull the trigger. Thanks for the review.
JonnyBgooD 007 No problem, glad I can help.
Does it have a battery? How long does it hold a charge?
Follow up on the cost way fridge. How is it holding up? Do you use it a lot? What do you carry inside the fridge when you out camping?
Awesome review, very detailed.

Which Jackery do you use with the Costway fridge?

@@myjoyquest Hi! How much running time do you get from the Jackery running this fridge in 12v?

How’s it holding up
I haven’t had any issues with it so far and I've been pretty hard on it. I would say its definitely a good value for the money.

Has anyone found a cover for it?? More insulation is always better!
I plan to make my own with reflectix (ordered this model today). I've done this before with my last fridge/cooler and it worked great!
