Ghee has a long shelf life. You can store it unrefrigerated in a dark room temp area for up to a year. We took all the liquid and milk solids out, so there's nothing that can make it turn bad, really. The cooked Morta (milk solids), on the other hand, has to be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 6 months. 😊
Actual ghee in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is made through ancient Indian vedic method called bilona method limited to rural areas only quite rare in the cities, i don't know how Egyptians make, i don't know Ancient Egyptian copts used to make it or not
I think I know what you mean, and Egyptians have an ancient method that is still used to this day in some rural areas as well. It's called el khadada الخضاضه. I remember actually seeing the process in person, and it was quite interesting 😁 I know they also have a modernized version of el khadada made out of metal. It's ao cool to learn about other countries' ways of making the same thing 🥰
@@MiriamzKitchen is there any video available for khadada method or khazaza method as it is written in Arabic? What they do? Bilona method is making curd in mud pot and making butter out of it another mud pot called bilona they use wooden whisker and rope and they whisk anti clockwise and clockwise until they get butter, then such butter is heated in pot and ghee is made out of it... I consumed it in my late mother's village in North India and trust me, I had odor of ghee in my hand which is not a case with store bought ghee and home made ghee made out of buffalo milk cream... Hakeem of Unani medicine and ayurvedic physicians also use it in medicine
@@MiriamzKitchen yes I watched both, and yes Indian one is indeed Indian, it's ancient method but I don't think it happens in home, I have seen videos of ghee making of India and Pakistan and I found out same thing and they even use cow dung as stove 🤣🤣🤣 my aunt use to make food using cow dung as fuel for stove 🤣🤣🤣 even though i grew up eating cow curry cow biryani cow pulao lol
