And 30 million total population
Thus, if they were a country, they would be the 47 largest country in the world by area AND population (quite a coincidence)

I visited Brasil last year and Florianopolis (Santa Catarina) and Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) are by far my two favorite locations! Stayed for more than a month in each. The people are super friendly, despite the language barrier. Love to come back soon!

Como região é sim, mas como estado, SP é o mais seguro, é a capital com o menor índice de assassinatos no Brasil! E nos outros crimes também está bem, apesar de gente ignorante de outros estados achar que SP é muito violenta!
I was born in Sant'Ana do Livramento - RS (abbreviation to Rio Grande do Sul) and there in South is kinda cold so you must bring hoodies if you aren't used to 10°C, 20°C for example. Florianópolis is the SC (Santa Catarina) capital and there's really beautiful beaches tbh
I'll be visiting Brazil this June and will stay mainly in Porto Alegre in Rio Gande Do Sul where my boyfriend lives. I am so excited and I hope to meet a lot of new people there. Surely we will visit other main cities in Brazil like Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo. Hopefully we can meet for a coffee as I would love to hear Filipinos in Brazil and their stories and experience living in the country.

The South and Southeast are by far the most developed regions of Brazil. But that was only achieved by being more economically free relative to the rest of the country, and also because of different cultures and decentralization. I live in São Paulo, and it's not bad, compared to some other states.

I wonder if you would be willing to create videos highlighting more of the towns, cities, and landmarks of the South of Brazil. Some cities like Floripa, Curitiba, and Gramado have some videos, but this region is largely not discussed. I'm interested in emigrating to that region and would genuinely appreciate more information, especially from someone who lives there.

Who's born in Santa Catarina its calling Green Belly as well (couse a paraguay war). Green Belly and Gaucho its like a "same people" as couse fighted a lot Wars and revolutions 2gether. Just a more precise info on crime rate in Florianopolis. Last year (2021) the homicide rate was 8.8 to 100k population. To compare, the Brazil average was 26.7 anda USA was 6.5.
And in 2022 it was 6.9 per 100k people, while Brazil's at 18 or 19

Florianópolis's population in 2022: 574.200
Florianópolis's homicide rate: 6.9/100.000
Homicides in Brazil in 2022: Around 37000 to 38000

Como paranaense, tenho grande vontade de visitar Lençois Maranhense, Porto de Galinhas e outros lugares um dia. Sobre esses bobões que ficam se intrigando entre si, ignoram, cada lugar tem suas peculiaridades e atração, só saberá e conhecer quando visitar, é nisso que acredito.

@@jairooliveira2770 vcs esquecem que nossa cultura faz parte da cultura brasileira. A brasilidade também inclui ao gaucho. Essas falas de vcs nos excluem e isso não é de agora, essa exclusão por parte do império foi o que levou a revolução Farroupilha. Somos gauchos, e isso faz parte da cultura brasileira sim senhor, nao temos que mudar em nada.

@@jairooliveira2770 mas a cultura alemã se misturou com a do gaúcho. No meu caso, eu sou de família bem gaucha mesmo, Português, espanhol e índio. Porém com a chegada dos imigrantes eles se misturaram conosco, por isso tenho sangue italiano também. Não tenho ascendencia alemã, porém todas as minhas tias se casaram com descendente de alemães. Todo gaúcho, mesmo qur não tenha ascendencia alemã, tem familiares que são e eles aportaram a toda cultura do estado. Hj o RS é um mistura de tods esss culturas, junto ao africano. Aqui nós valorizamos todas elas, o RS e o estado com mais adeptos ao candomble em todo país? Mais que a própria Bahia. Isso que gaúcho é racista e uma falácia, nós misturamos todas as culturas que recebemos influência e valorizamos todas elas, todo gaúcho toma mate e faz costumes indígenas, todos dançamos música alemã, todos cozinhado comida italiana, todos cuidamos do gado como os espanhóis, todos falamos o idioma deixado pelos portugueses e por aí vai. Não é so a cultura dos pretos que tem que ser valorizada. Nao sei porque se incomoda tanto que valorizamos todas as nossas influências culturais.
