Does it work for moles. Any ideas how to get rid of moles?

Moles and gophers hate fire ants. All 3 can be limited with frequent zero turn or tractor activity. Snakes are very effective. I have 3 friendly black snakes that feast at the edges of my field. Small hawks and an owl help too.

Gopherhawk, which Jay mentioned in this video, works great for moles. The great thing about the Gopherhawk is that it is inserted into the main tunnel with a simple 1.6 inch diameter hole rather than digging larger holes (like this trap requires).

One of your fellow viewers suggested scissor traps for moles. We don't have moles around here so I don't have a way to test that but if you read comments around yours, you'll see what he has to say. I hope it helps!

I had super success with Scissor Mole Traps, and they were a lot less trouble. I got 4 out 4 within just a couple of days.

Thanks for sharing. I've not used this type before - but I'm going to buy one and see how it works on pocket gophers. We don't have any mole issues here (let's hope it stays that way!). Are you using this product for moles or pocket gophers? Thanks again. Best, DFJ

@@DirtFarmerJay Yes I use them for moles only. Got a package of 2 on Amazon for $39.99. Real easy to set and works surprisingly well. Just squish a short section of their tunnel back down and they will come back through, and it snaps down on them.
