I felt like I was on LSD and it wouldn't go away. I cried to my doctor and begged to fix my brain. It got better but for around a month I was not me. I was insane, there is no other word for it. I needed help and no one knew what to do. I'm ok now but I would NEVER want to live through that nightmare again.

Yes I went through it. It very like being on narcotics and a bad anxieity-depression trip. not fun. But eventually went away after a few months. I think it started to improve after a month and then another month or 2 to return to normal. At it's worst, it would come in severe anxiety waves that were horrific.

So is this like how Strep throat can cause p.a.n.d.a in children? if so it really needs to be made more aware to the public, cause people who don't normally share their inner feelings may just keep it to themselves till its too late not knowing its a symptom at all.

I had covid psychosis in early August of 2022. It was about the 4th day of having covid that i started to have mental problems. I was slurring when i was talking. Some hair fell out on my scalp. My nails stopped growing. I was sweating a lot. I could hardly walk straight. I just slept all the time and ate nothing. Then, i started repeating things in my head. I did this a little when i was a teenager, but this was way worse. I was sitting on the couch a few feet from my wife and i knew she was right there but my spacial awareness told me she was 100 yards away. That was tormenting. On top of that, i was repeating my own name in my head over and over and over and over again and it was getting louder and louder. I was literally losing my mind. I asked my wife "Do you think i need to go to the hospital?" She paused the tv and said "Why do you think you need to go?" I told her bc im about to end it all right now. We immediately went. The hospital had me talk to a person on a screen, then they cleared me to go home. I was there about 5 hours. They ran some tests on me, did a scan, found nothing. We got home late. I was in the shower for a while. I hoped the steam would clear some things up but it never seemed to. Im not that religious, but i prayed that night for God to heal me while i showered. I went to bed at 1:00. I then was awoken at about 3. I felt a weird cracking basically right where my cheekbone is. It was that same feeling you get when your sinuses are cleared up. Then, i felt different. I felt like me again. I made sure it was real and i laughed. That was the test. Then i woke my wife up and she was in shock. She cried. She said it was like i was haunted while i was sick. Everything about me was gone. My sense of humor. My drive. My love. Gone. I was a shell of a human. Im so thankful that im back and still here. That was easily the scariest week of my life. Covid brought me to my knees in 4 days.

I got hit by delta-like a deer full of energy got hit by a truck coming from nowhere. I have had a fever for 10days( going up to 104.5 degrees ) and during the infection moments came where I lost it. Thanks to my brothers who supported me and helped me to fight the virus. After the infection I became anxious like never before. I have had worst 2 months of my life after infection. Deepression and anxiety was suffocating me very bad. I felt like I'm buried in the ground while alive. But things started to clear up when I moved from metropolitan to my countryside village. I started going out in nature more often and started rigorous swimming session in our pond. I got infected in may and here I'm after 8 months in best shape of my life eating well, working out, and daily doing breathing meditation. I feel well, although sometimes anxiety hits me but then I start doing breathing(yoga) it helps a lot. To all those who've got hit by this virus hard and feeling unwell, confused, deepressed and anxious. Just have patience this shall too pass. And one thing more don't hospitalise yourself, unless it is an emergency. Many have healed in home. You'll heal too. Much love❤️

You need to take this very serious. The worst condition you can ever find yourself in life.. is to experience amplified overwhelming negative (real world) stressor emotions AND simultaneously loose the ability to feel any POSTIVE emotions. THIS is what both severe Depression and Covid Fog can do. The worst Situation is to find yourself in this condition and be without any defense... Without any defense, it can EASILY cause even the most stable well adjusted blessed person to commit suicide. (as in this story). So don't blow this off.
    1- Faith In God. (prayer)
2- ACTIVELY doing distractions to break the death grip spiral of negative emotions.... cleaning house, walking, talking/texting, shopping, anything that takes you out of your own head. This can be exhausting.. but is necessary.
3- Armed with knowledge it is only temporary, it IS a real physio-bio attack on your neurons.. and it WILL subside eventually.
4- Fight with willpower you will NOT let this attack on your body and mind take your life... for your sake, and for your loved one's sake.

My condolences to you and your family for the loss of your wonderful husband. I commend you for trying to make people aware of this life threatening symptom that can devastate a family. I think that very few people know of this complication, and need to be aware so we know what to look for. I hope you do not take offense if I share my own personal experience with this, as it is done only in the hopes to make others aware, and maybe if they know what to look for, they can help a loved one.
My little daughter had Covid just a few months ago in April, and in June was hospitalized for hallucinations (audio and visual), she went into seizures and immediately after had memory loss not knowing who she was, or where she was. She was crying for her mom and I was right there, but every time I tried to hold her hand she screamed I was a stranger. She then lost feeling in her limbs and the ability to walk. We did endless tests, but no diagnosis, and we were sent home one week later as my daughter seemed to get better on her on.
She was good for about 2 weeks, and I noticed she started having trouble sleeping, eating, would walk around with no purpose, seemed spaced out. I rushed her back to Emergency when she seemed paranoid and scared to death, and she told me that the voices and hallucinations were back and wanted to hurt her. She though she was being followed by people that could read her mind, and she could predict the future. She was scared she was going to hurt herself.
We spent 2 weeks in the Children's Hospital, ran endless tests (a repeat of all the prior tests, plus additional ones) and consulted with endless doctors - pediatrics, neurology, immunology, infectious disease, rheumatology, psychiatrics. My daughter developed Catatonic Mutism and lost the ability to speak, seizures started, and the fear in her eyes was horrifying. She would communicate by writing or Yes No signing. This time it took medication to get her to out of her catatona. We are back home again, my daughter is on medication, and being closely followed by a team of doctors. The diagnosis was given as Covid Psychosis. Her blood tests were clean, her MRI, and lumbar puncture were clean, but somehow this virus has attacked her brain, and because this is so new, doctors cannot tell you if this is an immune response to the virus, and inflammation to the brain caused by a protein or virus, and how long it will take her to recover. Or even if she recovers, can there be a relapse if she gets ill again. I have hope that my daughter will heal in time, and being aware of the symptoms and what to watch for, gives me a measure of comfort that I can help her somehow.
If you have a loved one that has acted strange after Covid, pay close attention and don't be afraid to talk and ask hard questions of what they are feeling, or hearing/seeing. What they may see or hear can be overwhelming and terrifying, and they are not able to separate what they see, hear, and feel from what is actually real.

I went through this and I did it while living completely alone and I survived. It's important (if possible) to find distractions and not allow the anxiety and negative thoughts to grow by pondering on them. "look away from them" mentally. If you look a them and dwell on them, they will overwhelm you. Pray and find a task (physical task) to preoccupy your mind. The depression and anxiety will rise and fall like a roller coaster... eventually they will lesson over time. For me it took weeks.

Same thing happened to my brother. He had covid, was very ill, when things begin to get better, was about to go back to work, he had a major pychosis episode. Was very agitated, was talking about strange things, didn't know who he was, who was our father, said he was Jesus and had to save the world. And just jumped. I'm 100% convinced that covid had some affect in his brain. He was a happy, outgoing, upbeat, athletic young man. He loved life. It was the most strange and unimaginable thing. But it did happen. There must be some families out there as confused as mine and maybe data will show up with time and at least we'll have a better understanding.

Hi! I went through the same thing with my mother. Overcame covid/pneumonia but when she came back from hospital she was acting a little different. 5 days later she went into psychosis/manic episode was saying God was talking through her and that she had to quit her job and help people. It was very strange as we never experienced this and my mom has never had any mental health problems.

I prioritized water fasting. When I did eat, I only ate fruits, veggies, fresh juices (used my own juicer), took biok+, got sun daily and absolutely no processed foods. It was a weird mental thing, to the point I started to question reality. When my sense of smell came back, I considered myself healed. The a body pains lasted a day, weird shooting nerve pains in my brain for about 2 days and a fever for about 4 days. The anosmia lasted for about 2-3 weeks and the disconnected/ am I really here/is this reality type of feeling went away at that point. Weird lil man-made virus

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.
“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted".
You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything, in Heaven above or in the Earth beneath, or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents up to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
If my people who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, I will hear from Heaven, will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
This, then, is how you should pray:
    Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name,
    your kingdom come,
    your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
    And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

    These are the teachings,
The Righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ our God.
REPENT, and start doing what is right.
If you abide my teachings, you are really my disciples; then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
A time is coming and has now come, that the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth. God is Spirit, so his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and Truth; they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
In the New Heaven and New Earth,
    only Righteousness dwells.
May the Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ our God be with you all.

    • @rodneiaroque5518
      @rodneiaroque5518 3 года назад +3

Unless you know, you should not say that. By the way his wife describes him and his personality, I would say he had no issues. My daughter also had no issues, and there is no mental health history in my family, but less than one month from getting Covid in April, she has had to be hospitalized for severe psychosis twice, once in June and again in July, and is currently on medication. When I mean severe, I mean thinking of killing herself, seeing shadows and people who are not there, hearing voices, and thinking 'they' could read her thoughts, feeling persecuted and paranoid, believing she could predict things, then becoming catatonic, developing mutism, having seizures, losing the ability to walk, and losing her memory. That is psychosis, and that is severe. At the Children's hospital, 3 other little children were being treated with similar psychosis symptoms as my daughter (all recently sick with Covid) with one of them being as young as 10.
