I can verify, this lil dragon bag gives you LOTS of compliments!!! Every time I go out with it SOMEONE says "That's so cute!" or "Where did you get that!?" I even had a Salt grain recognize me and we talked about Jackie XD Definitely get the bag it's adorable and I love mine.
The octopus tentacles are just stuck after printing. The joints have to be kind of forced to move the first time, and some are smoother after being worn in a bit.
The octopus may have had the joints fused in the printing process. This happens when there isn't enough tolerance between pieces and/or the layers of plastic get squished so much that the walls of the print connect
Fun fact about the dragon scales and cosplay use: you can lay fabric down when printing to actually print it onto fabric, making it all one piece to be sewn into costume pieces.
So when you 3d print articulating toys, you often have to work each area gently until you get the movements that you want. Over time it become easier. On the opposite end, it could also be that the filament stuck together when it was being printed and in our house it's considered a failed print, which does happen, no matter if you have the best machine out there.
@@Jazzatic2011 so some places take wasted filaments and recycle them to be new filament. I seen some ppl buy expensive machines that grind failed prints and another machine that melts the crushed plastics and stretches them back to filament.e personally I just bring my failed prints to the recycling center that takes in 3d printed plastics.
@cityhunter25 Are you her brother? I just made a comment on this video suggesting that you experiment with sound design to make these fidget toys even more satisfying. I was thinking that maybe different types of filaments sound different. You could also look to the custom keyboard community to get inspiration, since they add all sorts of materials inside a keyboard to alter the sound, like foam, silicone, packing tape, plastic sheets, kinetic sand, play dough, and more. I just think there's a lot of fun to be had experimenting with sound when it comes to 3d printed fidget toys.
I absolutely love the little castle. So adorable, I want one... And I've had the last one (the meraki sphere) since the 90s; it's my favorite fidget toy - or was, because I stepped on it.. thanks for telling us what it's called, now I can get a new one!
The bloom fidget toy I definitely remember from when I was younger. It was used as decoration though in my mom's friends house. I always played with it anyways.
Oh my gosh, I've had one of those meraki sphere things for a good 30 years - I've never known what it was called, and I've always just used it in my hair over a bun!
Yes, I actually like it too. I noticed that with fidget toys it's hard to make a good tier list, because people have so different preferences. One thing can be extremely satisfying for one person, but annoying to the other. For example popit toys are like one of the most popular ones, but they do nothing for me. But I know many people find them very satisfying.
Yes I am most definitely like that where I find things that I love and learn everything about it. I do resin and resin 3d printing and I've been enjoying learning everything about it
The octopus is actually a type of puzzle toy called a snake which you can make into different shapes. Wacky tracks are more of a clicky plastic chain which can be linked with as many as you want so you can make a really long necklace of them or make them really short but you can’t make them into a shape. 😊
Jackie I love your reaction to the massage rollers!! It truly does look satisfying. That clicker!! I love those! I am a pen clicker and so enjoy the clicks. I also enjoy the worry stone and turners on the items like the fidget cubes.
I've just been watching through your cash or trash playlist, and saw the episode where you and Sika are debating about the term "hefty", now you're using it, conversion successful! 😂 Also, when you said "in...out" I carried on with "shake it all about, you do the hokey cokey and your turn around" Yes I'm an 80s UK grain!
This Super clicky oreo spiner can be used with one hand ❤ 🎉 i watch it in agony that you don't grab it by cookies and drag it across something like a pizza cutter, im gonna print it and oh god I can't wait 😂❤
I’m totally in love with 3D Printing cause I’ve printed some Pokémon from it at the library here! I don’t have my own printer but would love one! Say thanks to your brother for me for making all those awesome fidget toys! Please ask him if he can make more fidget toys for you to show in one of your next videos please?❤
@@cityhunter25 that would be great! I just finished another 3D print at the library of a Groudon! I just love Pokémon! Do you like Pokémon? If so, what is your favorite Pokémon? Mine is Pikachu!⚡️🐭
At first I thought the fidget "prep" pull was.... "something else" when you said it said something else, but then after seeing the mechanism, I was like: "OH.... you meant a PISTOL.. O H."
I definitely think your brother did an amazing job 3D printing the unique fidget toys for you to try them out, I would definitely be using the Oreo cookie fidget toy a lot because I’m also a sucker for noisy things too🥰🥰🥰
Some libraries have a free or low cost to use 3D printer if you are a member of their place. At least in the US, but y'all could always ask your local libraries.
ugh I'm so happy. Just got home from work, got a big delivery of fidget toys I ordered for myself, and now I get to unbox my toys while I watch Jackie do her thing 💕🥹 so happy
I think these look really cool and random but I like heavy but light fidget toys like it’s heavy and cold but so YIU can still hold it idk how to describe it
Can you please do squigz and dimple digits, please squigz our suction cup building blocks and dimple digits are basically dimples, except you can put it on the ground, and you can still fully pop it. It also has numbers on it.:)
These are all really nice looking, but I think your brother could do a lot to improve how they sound. Maybe he could test out how different types of filaments sound and how different combinations of filaments sound. He could also experiment with adding foam, tape, silicone, plastic sheets, and other materials inside the fidget toy to get more satisfying clicks. I'd recommend looking into the custom keyboard hobby to get inspiration, as they add all sorts of stuff to keyboards to get the sound that they want (like kinetic sand or play dough or packing tape). There is just so much you can do to a keyboard to customize how it sounds, so why should a fidget toy be any different? There are a lot of similarities, so I'd really recommend your brother look into that to get some ideas. Pretty much anything is better than hollow plastic, though 😂
Ooh, I'm jealous, lol. Actually my brother got himself a 3D printer, but he couldn't figure it out 😅 If someone randomly gave me a working machine (and I could understand the program), I could spend a loooot of time designing and making things, lol
I have a still 3d printer and I made two fidgets one is a duck with a round peace that you shake up and down making a noice when it rubs together, the other one has a disc and try and you slide the disc down flip it in the air and then hafto ketch it back on the tray
Forgive me but I must also nerd out a bit regarding 3D printers. So I've been considering getting a K1 Max, but Creality is in the process of releasing the K2 so I'm waiting for a bit to see what the reviews say about it to know if I'm going with that or with a Bambu Labs one. I have an Ender 3 V2 currently and it's been doing great, but I really think I could benefit from the enclosure considering how the bed adhesion is inconsistent for me. I know it's probably the vents for the AC in the room kicking on causing issues but still.
Hello NerdEBro! I love most of the fidgets you made! I love Octopi, but I like the more delicate printed ones. The clickers are great! If you decide to make these for sale as a mystery box, put me on the list! Kudos for being an awesome brother! Thanks! Take care and stay safe! NerdECrafter-thanks for this delightful video! Hello fellow grain. It was a pleasure making Jackie some fun fidgets. It's also fun to see how far the 3d printer can go in accuracy to make everything work together 😁 unfortunately I cannot sell the other designers work as they are not allowing it but I am learning to 3d design to see if I can make my own designs 😇
The 'prep' one is an...... interesting shape 😂😂😂
The sheer amount of "that's what she said" in that entire section! Priceless

Yes! You are right! It was a bit stuck on certain joints. I had probably forgot to set the k value for that rainbow filament before using it. 😇
Are there ways to reuse the filiment if you have a failed print? Just very curious

I think the octopus joints just need gently broken loose. That's common on 3D prints
