- I'm a big fan of all of Harold Faltermeyer's movie scores. In particular, I love the Top Gun Anthem and was very happy to hear it included in Top Gun Maverick. Today I'm having some fun with it featuring the KORG RK-100S 2 Keytar 🎹🎸🕶️

Out of this world, truly phenomenally talented.
Love the keytar
Keytars are the best! 😊
I love your channel Luke but that's blasphemy especially coming from a keyboard player. As a keyboard player and sometime guitar player I would like to say keytars are not the best. 😀
"How many keyboards do you want in your home studio?"
"Yes."

Excellent cover!
You can always have more keyboards 😂
@@lukemillionmusic that strapped keyboard is somehow much more suitable than guitar for this piece.
@@lukemillionmusic you should talk to my wife. I only have a paltry 7 keyboards!
@@lukemillionmusic is that new? No, I've had that for ages.
It's not the keyboard. It's the player!
WOW!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!!! Gives me goosebumps. 😮
Back in the day I bought a DX-7II. I was messing around with it and found that tubular bells patch and had the best time playing that bit of the Top Gun theme.
First movie i liked as a kid. This soundtrack is so full of emotion for me. A big thanks.
Magic !!!
Too good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great !
You take my breath away, Luke.
That song is itchin for a remix!
Amazing.
Keeeeeytar with the glaasssses
Very Cool, made me smile!
Dude, that song brings back memories.
On March 3rd, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots.
Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to ensure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world.
They succeeded.
Today the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School.
The aviators call it:
TOPGUN

Great tune!
I LOVE your channel, and your talent.
Please continue making more videos.
This must be the best synth-cover channel I have seen.
Lovely and ready for the 4th of July. Be safe people’s!
GREAT VID FROM THE MILLION DOLLAR SYNTH MAN.
Great cover - love all your other ones too - subscribed! 👍👍
I feel the need - the need for WEED !!!!
Thank you Sir, your my idol 🤟
This also gives me Airwulf vibes!
excellent job man, love this!
I see a lot more subscribers in your future....keep posting I love it. I am a keyboard player who graduated high school in 1988. Is fun to see how you recreate this songs. It's also fun to see the classic gear being used to play music from that era. I also enjoy see somebody playing "actual" songs on synths. Thanks for the great content.
I’m an 86 grad, and I feel the same - no longer play music, but this is inspiring me to get back into it.
Keytar 4 evar!!!
At the beginning it sounds like a Ian Hammer's song from "Miami Vice" series.
"In Search of" Television Theme Song had a cool synth sound to it. You'll really blow minds if you play that one.
I swear Faltermeyer was trying to channel Vangelis on this.
I didn't know Screech played any instruments! Way to go man!
Bravo 👏 Maverick . . . . I mean Luke
Are we sure this isn't Steven Hyde from that 70's show? Ha! All kidding aside, this dude IS talented! And all those synths! Woo!
I reckon Luke could do some absolutely wicked synthwave stuff..
You look exactly like Sammy Hagar at the sunglasses on Luke!
nailded it!
Nice tribute, I would like to see a cover of Miami Nights 1984 - Phone Tag, please! 🎹🎶👏👏
Will put it on my list 😊
Put some Mitch Murder on that list as well, please!
@@RealmsofPixelation 👍👍👍
ok, im an old fart but I cant remember any theme song of any movie after the year ... 2000?
the cover is great, that DX bells are the ones. nice finding
Please do a Cannons cover! they love using the Synth! lol
Running man intro!
Heaven s keyboard
greatvideo, keytar needs up in the mix
Awesome recreation, very well done! Can we also get the "Memories" song from Top Gun?
Hey Luke. Could you do nutbush? Loving your channel.
ayo I also play the keytar!
I play a KX5 because I dont think what your playing allows for pitch bend AND modulation at the same time, does it?
wish these were a bit longer....
You can be my wing man anytime 👊👊👊👊
Is the Lead Guitar Sound originally coming from Korg RK-100S 2? At the last part of the song, is that the Micro Moog?
Please recreate big in japan from alphaville 😁
Hi synth master
I have a serious question, I really love your multimoog bass sound,
And I wonder how I can make that multimoog bass sound with my memorymoog?
I know memorymoog is a beast but, as not a synth expert, I’m not sure how I can make that BASS sound.
Can you give me tip?
Or you think its hard to make it similar?
Luke absolutely loving your channel how about Maniac Michael Sembello,Visage Fade To Grey/Mind Of A Toy,Gloria/Self Control Laura Brannigan a few you could have the Midas Touch to
Keep up the excellent videos you’ve got skills my good man
We need What is Love by Haddaway!
Do you like depeche Mode ? It s my favourite group
Talk to me goose
What kind of Midi controller are you using?
Have you considered doing Close Encounters of the Third Kind?
Reminds me a bit of the Return of the Living Dead score, which by the way is my favorite zombie movie.
Luke, I'm a huge fan of your work. That's enjoying me so much ! I have a challenge for you, please could you make one of my favorite synth riff.
Propaganda - Dr. Mabuse Original 12 inch Version 1984 at 7:40 min 🎶!!!! The last chords on that track are so amazing 🤘🏻
Propaganda is so cool 🔥
I mean the band... 😉😂
Merci 🇫🇷
Justin
I will have to check it out 😊
Whats the guitar patch? Thats literally in the Top Gun unreleased score on several score pieces. Tangerine dream also used it a lot
Emulator 2 samler guitar, not keytar preset.
You do a great job covering all these tunes. Do you take requests, 'cuz I'm thinking Kraftwerk's Man Machine would be awesome. Maybe Owner of a Lonely Heart, even better.
Would you consider doing Paul Hardcastle`s either "19" or Rainforest, and one my my all time favs, KingTUT.. I tried my own version of Kingtut but missing some sounds as not sure how it was done :-) would pay money to see how these would be put together. :-)
Wherețs that snare from?
Where did you make the wooden case for the Ableton Push ?
My friend gave it to me and I love it. I think it was a custom job.
