Why are people saying les Twins shouldn't have been a part of the show because they're already known? They said they wanted to see the best of the best dancers for World of dance. Saying some of the competitors aren't allowed to participate because they're famous is like saying Michael Phelps isn't allowed to participate in other Olympics because everyone knows him. Doesn't make sense.
Most other participants were just as known. Jabbawockeez may even have been the euhm most known.

I don't think that should matter because The Jabbawockeez were also on their as well and they are also well known around the world but they didn't get that far. Name anyone who outdanced Les Twins? No one. They won regardless of their name man. They came out heavily impressive every time. Yes Keoni and Mari were incredible, especially in their last dance, but I still think Les Twins outdanced them.
DimpleEyes yeah Jabba is known more, but their fanbase isn't nearly as active then les twins. It has a lot to do with the fact that les twinz are active on social media for millions of people to see, unlike Jabba who mostly do live shows for a few thousands or hundreds of people at a time. Which obviously means that les twins would bring the most viewers to a nationally televised show.

Listen, I can go on forever on Les Twins. But ever since they got on stage they stole the show. I have to say I only wanted to see their performances, it is so captivating. They will be legendary pantomimes. I noticed that whenever they dance they always draw attention to the pulse in accented & unaccented beats, the melody, rhythm, and their ultimate rise in music motifs . They truly capture the essence of musicality itself. They are artists with many more masterpieces to display. A very deserved win...
They are like dance rockstars. It’s more than how they dance-it’s their explosive energy, the way the command every stage they’re on. The command you to watch and they perform, not just dance. They seem like they have an acting or performance art background. It’s even interesting how their moves are not all symmetrical even when they’re side by side-one stands with his feet further apart than the other, so it’s not always “clean” but that’s almost like a choice they made-there’s a looseness and casual quality with a raw aliveness to everything they do. They really take you on a journey....
No art background whatsoever. Learned from their older 7 siblings on Mom side (18 children between both parents; they are the babies maternally). Coached by a longtime family friend who danced with the older kids. Learned to walk at 5 months and have always responded to music as far back as they can remember. They have travelled the world and learned the dances organically from each region. & they are as down to earth as you can get. Met these two; this clip does no justice with how humble they are yet they have no mercy when it comes to their craft.

I honestly couldn't live in a world were Les Twins didn't win this competition. Like who is better than them? There legacy was too strong
It's amazing that people still don't know them. I thought they were not underrated but they still are. Incredible this world is. PS they deserve that win. These guys are the only dancers I've ever seen who show true passion and love for their craft. Usually most dancers who get some cash go and live a normal life and pretend like everything they said about dancing wasn't true. Not les twins. They dances 24/7. They work all day and night never stopping. Respect.
Honestly the best won the show. How couldn't they, the twins are in a league of their own. From the beginning they gave everyone who watched them something they've been missing. Beyond their dance they are unique, charismatic, stylish, like able,competitive, theatrical, polite and humble deserving people. To the twins I'm happy for you guys, to everyone else... better luck next year

Thank you for the clarification, unfortunately hadn't been able to watch WOD as I had initially began. It wasn't for not wanting to but events kept popping up. Yet I have been blessed to see them dance enough. As well to have caught on immediately that something was pause. Which I referencing the one in the black jacket. Yet make no mistake I am not implying or throwing any disrespect; quite the opposite. He definitely gets a hats off from me.

Ky Berry ~ No they aren’t. In an interview they said that their older brother made them wear their pants backwards as a punishment because they stole some candy or something. They said that they actually ended up liking it and kept it as their own hobby/style.

It's funny that some people say that they didn't deserve to win or they don't call what they do dancing. That's one of the dumbest things that I have ever heard. First of all there are so many styles of dance in this world, second of all you couldn't do any better then them and third of all world of dance was a competition for anyone that wanted to compete and they wanted to. They worked hard everyday to make new routines and show off to the top. So saying that they didn't deserve it just because they are well known. Then you really don't know the meaning of dance

Les twins deserved to win, there are so many haters here. Look at it this way, every dancer on that show talked about Les twins talent and everyone in the dancing world knows that Les twins are 2 of the most successful dancers ever. Which proves that they're epic and talented. Stop being so salty, it's a competition, you win some, you lose some. Les twins are hands down 2 of the most talented dancers and watching them is an experience. Most dancers aspire to get to their level of talent and success.
i remember when i found out abt them in 2009 and their style just completely blew me away and they kept getting better through the years, it’s crazy to see them at this level now, happy for ya Larry & Laurent!! THE BEST!

They are phenomenal....primal, street, rhytmic & their musicality will NOT be denied! Eva was sensational indeed, & deserved to be in the finals at the young age age of 14, but, Les Twins are in a league of their own!!!
Les Twins deserved to win it for many reasons, one of them is all they have done for the world, not just the dance world but the world in general in teaching about musicality. On of their biggest gifts they have given us is that, they changed how i listen to music forever, and I can talk for hundreds of thousands when I say this maybe even millions, they have given us love and we have returned it, they deserve where they are at, they worked for it coming from nothing becoming international superstars even before this show existed.

am i the only one who really enjoyed this dance? there wasnt really any overly-complicated moves but their musicality was insanely on point n thats what LT is about.
who else new to "les twins" it is hard to get their style .....remember they're freestyle dancer....they're not that choreo based dancer(Despite that they killed every routine) ...the time they got to perform in this show is actually their warming up time....Give them a good compact 7min...u'll be blown away.....!!!!

Les Twins don't only dance to music but they *are* the music. They connect with it spiritually because they have a different style from any other.
TheKinjaz don't get me wrong, I love their moves so much but from me, having a perspective as being a dancer since a little girl, I've seen their style *plenty* of times. They ended off too softly and weak and gave me a bad vibe.

I agree. It's the same reason why I like watching the Royal Family dance crews. It's like, if the sounds and attitudes in these songs could be visualised, it's exactly what Les Twins and Royal Family have choreographed. It's on another plane of interpretation and dance. To be brutal and frank, it's also a big reason why so many other dancers bore me, no matter how technically gifted or passionate they are. While they dance to the music, Les Twins ARE the music.

Every dancer on World of Dance is a winner. How do you think the dancers became contestants? NBC was walking up to people's doors saying let's see your best moves. No. The competitors all had prior experience from different competitions. There were several winners from tv contests & various off air competitions. After W.O.D. now they're getting work on SYTYCD & other gigs that aren't televised. No one really lost, the experience alone was worth it.

Anybody that knows Les Twins and been fans of theirs for a while KNOW THEY DESERVED TO WIN!I didnt even watch the whole season just the final lineup and already knew they would win cause they have been great dancer for a long time. Just because they already have alil fame doesnt mean they didnt deserve the win. If that was the case half the contestants on the voice or americas got talent wouldnt have been able to audition.

Props to Les Twins for winning, but I'm pretty sure most people will agree the results of the Division Finals (kinjaz/ swing Latino) were a bit biased. Hopefully Season 2 won't be full of the BS scores that the judges come up with for their favorite acts.

It wasn't biased - it was just two INCREDIBLY talented dance acts going against each other. One losing was bound to cause controversy
Alex Dan two things. We can either play victim and say les twins won because of bias, or just let it be that they win. When they loose in battles and other comps they don't say it's rigged or bias. They just take the L and move on.
Season two will not be as good as season 1 because they already brought out the best of the best. Meaning it's only down hill as talent goes.
PKdanceTV when it comes to the bias part of the show, I was referring to last week. Obviously out of all the finalists this week it would make sense that Les twins win. Last week the kinjaz lost to swing Latino which was the biggest upset along with the jabbawockeez. That elimination was the only one that made me scratch my head and question the credibility of the judges, especially JLo. If you look at the polls from the WOD Twitter you can see that nearly every one preferred the kinjaz over swing Latino. If this show had fan voting then I don't think anyone would call this show rigged or biased.
Shawn Moore swing Latino over kinjaz was a heavily biased decision. JLo employed dancers from swing Latino before, so it's not completely fair that they're in the competition in the first place.
Derek is the best dressed judge in World of Dance in my opinion. Always wearing nice suits. 👌👌👌

For anyone who thinks they are not that great or something. Just search them on RUclips, and search their older stuff too. Completely worth it. I have seen enough of them to say that this here was probably around 40% of their true potential, and that they didn´t even hit 70% in the show. I´ve seen them at 100% and it´s just jaw dropping.
