Absolutely aesthetically beautiful. More traditional shape that is much more appealing on the eye then the more modern designs that are getting fuglier by the day.

I like the full skeletonized version. It's like a Gerber Paraframe, but good.
This is one of the few cheap knives that I own and I absolutely love it…I appreciate the heft of the skeletonized version. And I only bought it because they accommodated us lefties!
I have the CRJB Pyrite. The issue I have been running into after carrying it for 6 months is the button lock has been deforming "getting dents in it" I assume from the blade slamming into it during use. Making it impossible to open cause it gets caught in the dents on the button.
Thanks for another great video MC. I got the cord with micarta and I feel like it's a great knife for the price. I had slight button lock stick but that went away quickly. The detent is a little weird it does not fire out very strong at all but it is hard to fail at the same time, it works well just doesn't feel very satisfying.

In my opinion the skeletonizing gives you a secure grip and also lets you tie the knife to a stick to get a simple spear for outdoor survival.
I like it. I think skeletonizing looks cool.
I was actually looking for a larger version of the Gerber paraframe as I have the small version.
That little knife isn't perfect by any means, but it is what it is -an emergency survival tool.
This one is like the paraframe full size but with a better lock with a button and better bearings.
I think I'll go ahead and buy it. :)
The detent on mine was so hard i couldnt even use the thumstuds. I am definatly returning it..😢 i wanted to love it.

I have one of these. I am obnoxiously paranoid about the tip of my pinky finger getting chopped off like a cigar cutter with the few larger cutouts lol.

Thanks for sharing bud! I’m not one who cares about the weight too much so I wouldn’t mind a full stainless steel one lol but I actually like this version just fine, I never liked the Gerber paraframe very much either so that’s weird to me

The detent on mine was so light, a slight shake of the wrist would cause the blade the deploy. Not safe - I sent it back.

I suppose with all the training for thumb wrestling you can’t have a button lock that stops the blade when pressed too hard… you would never be able to operate it otherwise!
This design, I like it, however this version is too much like the Paraframe which like you, MC I HATE also!

@@billybunter3753I agree. If we all liked the same thing I would never be able to afford my favorite knife because everyone would want the same one. Currently that would be an Ontario Magnacut dive knife with an orange handle.
But this here knife looks like it belongs in a rotating plastic case next to the dick pills at the local Chevron.

I’m addicted to button locks and ever since, MC mentioned button stick, I’ve now become a “button stick snob” and that it shouldn’t matter how much or little I press it. “Just close!”
Now, I have to buy this... Thanks a lot, MC! Jerk! Just kidding.
I’ll go with the all steel look. 95% of all my knives are black and tactical looking. So, this seems a little more flashy. However, I’ll check out the other variations. Great price too.
