I flew on the A340-600 from Detroit to Frankfurt with Lufthansa! I love the A346, it's my favorite aircraft! And I love the A340-300 too! :) Awesome video

Beautiful :) I took off from DUS only two weeks ago, but on an airberlin a330 (DUS-JFK).
She looks quite clean for her age.

I happen to enjoy the A340 over a 757 for overseas flights as you can get the 2 seats in Economy rather than 3. Lufthansa is my favorite international airline as they serve good food and alcoholic beverages in Economy Class. The crew is very friendly and helpful.

Man the A343 engines are weak!
Not weak, just not the right engines for the aircraft. I believe these are the same engines the 737 series uses and its much smaller than this big boy.

Yeah, it's kind of worrisome how underpowered these planes are... like.. how big/small is the margin of error if an engine were to go out only a few knots below V1?
