I love how even though Devil/Immortal Hulk is an absolute menace to everyone else, he’s still on Banner’s side.
Devil hulk is in reality father hulk as he will do anything to protect his child
Bruce must go in a spin so he can't be angry
Because regardless of how much he could run, hide, or avoid people, this Hulk understands he is bound to Banner and vice versa. He is aware that he is always with him. This one knows what hellish shiz he has lived with, and everything else. He might be pissed always, but he lives with and lives beside Banner. He is aware of all that happens, and because of this, he finds himself still finds himself as the protector of Banner because he is Hulks link to the living world.
Such a beautiful, touching story about a boy who just wanted fatherly love and the fatherly figure who did his best to fill that role. This is what Marvel is all about, this is what we love most about it.
I kinda wish devil hulk survived
I really wish the movies played with the "there isn't only one Hulk" concept more than it did. While the fight between Banner and Savage Hulk is the most iconic thing about the character, him having so many different personalities is something that is very interesting to watch play out. I do suppose that we might get the multiple-personalities aspect from Moon Knight though, but the way it worked with Banner was just so interesting to watch.

I loved this version of the Hulk he wasn’t evil or a monster he was a better father figure than his real father ever was. To the point that even the savage hulk didn’t want him to go.
It's honestly one of the most touching tales... I love it as well

Some things to make special note of: Immortal/Devil Hulk had one built in weakness (supposedly as a part of a subconscious balance Banner was able to place). UV radiation sucks for him, which is why for the longest time he's not able to exist at all during the daytime (he eventually builds tolerance to it though). So... the only reason the Helios laser worked so well? It was a massive blast of what's essentially his Kryptonite. It's possible that say, Green Scar may have just tanked the laser, or Devil himself if not for being specifically vulnerable to sunlight.
an as a bonus fun fact for his durability: it was an adamantium scalpel that cut Hulk's heart in half (the body overall was done while it was still Banner's fried corpse) and the text even states the very strong robot arm holding it was near its breaking point trying to slice through the organ

Hold up, you're telling me that Bruce is friends with the literally God of Thunder, yet he doesn't believe in the devil?
I think when Bruce and the devil Hulk talk about God and Devil they are talking about the normal representation of the "Creator of everything" that religion has, which he, being a man of science, doesn't believe in.
Something similar applies for Thor and the other "gods", they aren't the creators of the world or the life in it, they are not actual gods, they are seen as a very superior earthly race completely different than humans.
And also consider that they have met beings far superior in the universe than this "gods"

1.Sientists are not ateist or non teist. Yes, there is a lot of non teist sientist compare it to normal population, but overwhelmingly they beleive God. Although its depends on which culture thry came from. Far as ı know more than half of the sientists in Turkey and İtaly are Teists, while majority of sientists in Taiwan are non-teist. İts not a good bias for Banner.
2.Banner is not a person, he is just a chracter. Chracters doesnt have religious,political and etc beleives longest its not core to their identy like Eddie Brock. Their religious beleives are deffinetly depends on writer itself. Look at İceman for example. İceman in early 2000s and İceman today are totally diffrent persons one Who has nofthing common with. What happends in that comic is stuck with that comic.
It is wierd. Hulk and Banner has seen evil gods wrecking havoc before.

I love the hulk comics and it makes me sad that marvel don’t make a movie similar like this and make it more a physiological horror cause that would work so well
They don't have movie distribution rights for him so that's why they don't make movies like that for him. If they made a Hulk movie, Universal would get to decide when, where and how much the profit they get.
I’d say the reason why the devil hulk was so caring is because since he was presumably ‘The Devil’ he understood what it felt like to be treated as a monster. This is just a random thought so don’t take it as a real answer

To me I think the devil hulk represents actual love. Tough to wrap your head around and can easily be misconstrued. Simple yet made complex.

I feel like there was a drastic story shift that turned him from monster tormenting everyone....to dad?! I got whiplash just watching this.
The story says that the immortal hulk was killed in banner's own mind.
So what that says is that banner's powers, like the reality stone, are limited only to what is in his mind, what he is capable of coming up with through his many personalities.
As seen in the cave there were hundreds of different hulks locked away in the ice.
In his own mind the immortal hulk was the one thing banner could never see about himself as dying, his desire to love and be loved.
When the leader went inside banner's mind he created a visual representation of the immortal hulk dying, something that banner's mind could believe since it happened in a place where the immortal hulk was created.
But the mind is a tricky thing, especially when you describe powers based on it.
Since hulk's powers are only limited to his mind, what he believes himself capable of, then if he belives the immortal hulk is really, truly immortal, even inside his own mind, then it is.
The moment he begins to believe that again, the immortal hulk will come back.
The only way to stop it would be to make his mind believe, well and truly and forever, that whatever method used to destroy it was permanent, which would mean that banner was truly ok with and accepting of his own death, since that would mean letting the immortality of the hulk disappear as a power.
I think that banner, as a character, THINKS he wants to die, logically, that death would be preferrable. His concious thoughts are always on the depressive side and thinks his existence has been so terrible that death would be better.
But, deep down, subconciously, as is the same for many people, his survival instinct won't let him do it.
That immortal part of the human subconcious that desires to live no matter what the circumstances are takes over and won't let him find a way to kill himself, although in this case it's a lot more literal since he actually transforms physically when things like this happen.
It was mentioned in the video that bruce himself could die, but the immortal hulk could not.
I take that to mean that his concious self, the primary personality that makes up banner that he wants to portray to everyone else, his human side, that could die, as it does for a lot of people that experience some form of brain damage that cannot be repaired, like going into a vegetative state.
The concious mind could be damaged beyond repair and "die", but the rest of his subconcious made up by the various hulks, is much harder to kill, being effectively "immortal" since even muscle twitch reflexes in the brain can be active long after concious death has occurred.
So, yes, I think we will see immortal hulk again once banner's mind needs it and overcomes it's temporary impression that it was killed in his own mind.
This is why comics should never die

well, think of it this way, a traumatized bruce created the hulks correct? now what do you get when you make the mistake of traumatizing a hulk by killing it's father figure before it's very eyes while impersonating the source of it's very existence, the father bruce never should've had, bryan banner vs the devil hulk, father vs father right in front of a crying child, well, that's enough to bring out the worst in a kid right? and well, the titan is the worst of the hulk, brought out into a new form, we were used to the world breaker when the hulk got too angry, but now the hulk is worse, it has it's own hulk, that's what titan is, the hulk's true hulk

Bruce deserves so much better then what he gets, I get trauma builds character but at some point you just have to have a character finally understand accept who they are and the mistakes they’ve made and let them be at peace

man marvel movies with the hulk have not done him or bruce banner justice. The sheer depth of this character, the trauma, the change and battle with his own mental state and personalities that happen everyday. If we actually got to see this in some way and have it expanded on it would be amazing

Imagine you always have problems, you hurt people unintentionally and you carry the grief always, you help save the world countless times but now that you are in a deeper problem, captain marvel comes and says you are not of use to us anymore and completely disregards your condition and doesnt offer help but threathen you? He was 100% holding back his anger up to that point, he should have done some heavy damage to her imo

Have him fight whomever while having to deal with his "mental health." To win, he must meld Banner, Green Hulk and Grey Hulk into the Hulk he is now. It writes itself! GIVE US "MR. FIX-IT!!!"
