@@rmatt78470 Reginald, that has more to do with the sealer than the stain. Try sealing with our HD6500EXT, hopefully it will reduce the amount of maintenance and let the sun get to it, Green algae? Really? :0
So the last coat is poly, but the primer coat is... what acrylic? I'm asking cause the primer coat is what really started to make water based stain color pop, and that last poly coat made it vibrant. Can you do a poly on top of an acrylic?
i have a basement like this, but it some times gets some water stains in spring, so im assuming theres a bit of water coming threw the cement floor, will this stop water from coming threw? or would i be better off doing an epoxy floor over the floor?
Thanks for your comment. We have (3) grades of Anti-Skid (HDGRIP SOFT-SKID) that can be mixed into the last coat to help against slippery conditions, if present.
Scott, thanks for the great question. He is installing the Nohr-S Polyurea Coating Kit, Clear, this kit includes the primer you see being used. Not all coatings require this, many require just 2 coats.
Also, I seen in the video with the second coat he applies it to all the floor and on top of the first coat,it was said he used multiple gallons; so does that mean after applying those he does another coat but does the 1st color follow the same pattern as the 1st or does he change it? Not sure if you know what I mean just really curious before I do my own
@@LegacyIndustrial1 Oh ok, so only one coat of both stain is required? I see I need the 6500 primer coat do I need the polyurea as well or is that only for interior?
If I use 2 different colors does the dark have to go on first or the lighter color ? And I was told by a concrete stain company to wait till first one dry completely before putting the second coat on is this what he did ?
Typically go light to dark depending on your accents and such . Your eyes are naturally drawn to the lighter spots. Keep in mind you can always go darker but once you go too dark theres no going back.
LOVE THE LOOK GREAT JOB you've given me a GREAT idea THANKS FOR SHARING
You are so welcome!
Can this be done on an outdoor concrete patio that is exposed to all the elements? Will it fade? Will it last?
Yes, you can use this stain indoors or outdoors!!
Louis? twice a year U have to pressure the green algae off the concrete. Will I have the same issue after having it stained?

Nice job!🌟👍👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Really wow
Yes sireeeee bob nice!!
Thanks
How much fir the entire glossy kit?
Polyurea Sealer kit is a little over 1.00 psqft.
We have other options as well.
I cannot find red oak on the link provided, did they change the name or discontinue it?
We now have TerraCotta or Sienna Leather. Yes We discontinued that color as we changed the formula to a much better much more user-friendly product.
Red Oak is now available
I want to create this exact type of look
It can be done.

Kevin: The first coat is actually a WB Epoxy Primer (NohrS® ClearPrime - WB), it can be used stand-alone using two coats if desired.
What was the tools used in the video
You can find the tools he used here: www.legacyindustrial.co/products/premium-tools-kit/

It will not, however if you use HD6500EXT as your sealer, it will tolerate moisture.
is this dangerous for older people to step on?

What's the primer being used? I like the matte look before the Nohr-S is applied.

I noticed you did not etch with a machine prior to application. Why is that. Did you use a prep product
Hello Michelle! He used a buffer with a diamond pad prior to this step. The trick is to make the floor pourous which as you can see he succeeded.
Also, I seen in the video with the second coat he applies it to all the floor and on top of the first coat,it was said he used multiple gallons; so does that mean after applying those he does another coat but does the 1st color follow the same pattern as the 1st or does he change it? He applied (1) primer-coat and then (1) coat of polyurea.
As far as the stain... he applied the darker color first (red-oak) then the lighter (amber-old version, I would use brown or bronze today)
@@LegacyIndustrial1 Oh ok, so only one coat of both stain is required? I see I need the 6500 primer coat do I need the polyurea as well or is that only for interior?
@@jesusc7474 the primer from video is NohrPrime-WB, not 6500-ext. we have a kit: www.legacyindustrial.co/products/nohr-s-polyurea-kit-clear/
@@LegacyIndustrial1 Sorry for the confusion, I'm doing a outside project, would I still need that kit?
Can this be done on an outdoor concrete patio that is exposed to all the elements? Will it fade? Will it last?
Yes, use our HD6500EXT Sealer vs. what you see in the video.
The stain will do well in exterior application as log as you keep up with the sealer.
@@LegacyIndustrial1 So the sealer has to be reapplied?
@@jesusc7474 The Nohr-S® Polyurea topcoat is very very resilient and recoats being needed are rare. It's not hard to do if needed.

Either is acceptable. Not really a wrong way to do it.
What did u use to remove the watered solution off the floor
He sanded and etched the floor
Anybody here knows who can I call in Atlanta Georgia that can do this ? Please let me know .
Not that hard. The beauty of our product is you don’t need an expert to install it. Good luck and thanks for commenting
So the stain was in the bucket and sparyer?
The bucket is used for the run off. So you don't drip on the floor
@@MegaAmador1 oh ok
@@MegaAmador1 Correct, he uses it for starts and stops, helps prevent drips!
How much of the product did you use for each step looks good
Manuel, thanks for the great question, 200-300 sq ft per gallon for the stain and sealer is typically 300 sq ft per gal.
@@LegacyIndustrial1 You only did one coat of each stain correct?
Is this less expensive than tile?
oh yes
How much of the product did you use for each step looks bad ass
He used a few gallons of each color, there is more space than the video shows.
Is that water based stain?
Yes: www.legacyindustrial.net/products/concrete-stain-and-dye/deltadye-concrete-stain.html
that looks great! where did you buy this product, do you have thoughts on the valspar concrete stain /semitransparent?

Why aren’t you wearing a mask or respirator?
Linda the stain is WB, so is the primer. He wears PPE when he gets to the polyurea which is a solvent based product, good catch!
