I know this comment is old but... Every time Garrett packs for his trips I get the worst anxiety!! I'm the exact opposite, I plan a week ahead what I could need and write a packing list with every single thing and I try to pack as minimalistic as possible. Watching Garrett pack is my worst nightmare irl but it's entertaining to see what he's doing on the trip with the random items he brought. I don't know how he's functioning like that but I'm glad he's having fun that way 😂

This ice cream shop reminds me of a pizza shop I used to work at. The building the pizza shop was in is a very old building and have other shops apart of the same building. So, the shop is pretty small. We had the front of the shop where people can walk in, and we would serve them at the counter which has an ice cream fridge. Behind the counter is the main kitchen area where people can watch the pizzas being made. Then there is a hallway that goes all the way to the back kitchen where we wash the dishes and prepare ingredients and so on. and between the back kitchen and the front area on one side of the hallway was another room that was full of fridges and storage. We called it the 'powder room' because we also prepare the bases for the pizzas in there. On the other side was a door to a bigger room where we can seat people.
The layout is very important trust me.
A few common things that would happen is that sometimes we think someone is calling our name from the other side of the shop. So, if I was in the back doing the dishes, sometimes I would think someone was calling my name from the front, so I go to check who needs me. I'll ask my coworker a lot 'did you call my name?' and they'll most of the time say they didn't and similarly they'll think I'm calling their name and they'll come to me to see if I needed them when I didn't say anything. There was an occasion where me and someone else thought someone had called my name when nobody didn't (we looked and checked with our other coworker at the time).
There would be a lot of noises like thumps in the ceiling and knocking noises. We ruled it off as old building noises as they creak a lot and every day there would be a loud thump in the ceiling (it was very timely, but it could be the old heating system). There were lots of noises from the room we seat people. (It's about the size of half the shop) The room all used to be storage and unused for two years just filled with junk and a lot of noises came from there even though nobody ever went into that room.
One of the weirdest things that had happened when I was working. There were four of us working that day two in the 'powder room' one was making bases and the other was making ice cream. I was in the back kitchen preparing toppings with my boss for the pizzas when I heard our bell ring, so I go out to the front to serve, and nobody was there. I went out as soon as I heard the bell ring so I feel like I would have seen then walking out as the hallway to walk down isn't very long (very small shop). We also have a big heavy sliding door that takes a little bit to open and close it properly, and we keep it mostly closed in the winter to keep the cold air out. The door was still closed when I went out to see who rang the bell. After that I was confused and just thought I was hearing things, so I went back, and my boss asked me if there were any pizzas to make and I said that nobody was there. He was confused because he thought he heard the bell as well.
This story I wasn't there for but one day three people were working and there was one person at the front and two people in the back kitchen. The shop was really quiet this day and all of a sudden, they all heard this loud banging noise from inside the shop like a bunch of pans had fallen over (which happens often). So, everyone went to find where the banging came from and met each other in the middle thinking one of them had bumped a bunch of pans over but couldn't find anything and never found where the noise came from.
Anyways, none of y'all will read this much. Maybe I should find a spooky paranormal story community on reddit.

Im a 'paranormal fanatic' who has been obsessed with ghosts, horror movies and spooky things since I was literally 6 (yes my parents were concerned lol ) Because of this, i'm usually quite picky now with what I find scary and exciting because I'm like immune at this point. Yet, all of Garrett's horror ghost adventure series gives me the same nostalgic excitement I used to get years ago when I watched my first horror movie/my weekly watch of ghost adventures with Zak Bagans😂. 22:35 - I think that sound came from the ice cream coolers. Sometimes ice is formed on the fans, and another feature in the cooler made it melt a little so a cluster of ice fell down in the cooler. I don't speak much english so this was the best way for me to explain. I worked in a café once and we sold cold beverages in those kinds of showcases so that happened a lot.
