The skeptic in me usually has an easy time walking away from a haunted place feeling like everything can be explained, but the Chateau Marmont was certainly different. Have the person holding the dowsing rods wear noise cancelling headphone, and have someone else ask questions.
This way you eliminate possibility the holder is unconsciously moving the rods towards the answer they expect.
That could possibly work. The person needs to close their eyes, too or wear a blindfold so they won't know when a question is asked.
Same for a pendulum, place it on a hook and ask questions there's no chance of bodily interference then.

The strangest thing is, which Mykie comments on but doesn't take it to the full extent, is that the camera looked fogged up and the next hotel trip they went on she said she kept breathing on the lens to make it fog up. It's said that when a ghost/spirit/entity/whathaveyou attaches to someone, that person will begin to exhibit some of their mannerisms. In all of the Glam&Gore content I've watched, I have NEVER seen Mykie fog up the lenses in that way, not one video... I've not seen every video, but I've watched quite a lot, and not once. So it's definitely interesting that she wouldn't have seen the entity "fog" up the camera lens, but then start doing it herself immediately afterward if it isn't something she does frequently. Also, someone else in the comments mentioned it kinda looked ribbony, and it is said that ectoplasm is often webby/whispy/spider-web-feely, or "ribbony" if you will... I noticed the "ribbony" aspect of it too, as if you watch when it first starts coming, and right before it dissipates, it is very whispy. Cool stuff.

Honestly IF there really was something there it probably didn't like their picture being taken because of the Marmont's reputation of being a hiding place for celebrities. That “Are you man/woman/non binary” question actually makes sense. If it’s not a man or a woman and it’s malicious, that screams poltergeist or even possibly a demon of some sort.

@@paigecoleman1628 I wasn't too sure either, so I looked it up. Looking at definitions online, a poltergeist is a 'noise ghost' that interferes with the physical world, moving objects, making noises, and are generally considered tricksters or something more akin to a chaotic force (though they are credited as being able to bite, hit, scratch, etc. humans on top of the physical manipulation of objects) rather than having a physical manifestation or presence. Their presence is more a harassment or torment, rather than a possession or physical manifestation.
A demon would be considered a purely evil presence and can physically manifest themselves in some way, and are credited as being good at manipulative conversations, coaxing people into agreeing to or doing things, and of course can possess people, and can have a revolting, or sulfur smell. There's a lot of other differences online, but the main ones I found, I mentioned.

I'm really late to this party, sorry--so obviously in the video mykie and co talk about the weird haziness of that one clip, but what about that weird ripple right before the haziness starts to get really dense? if you go to 35:33 and pay close attention to mykie's face, specifically on the viewer's left side of her face, there's a strange ripple/flicker and then the video becomes really cloudy
I can see the weird rippling above mykies head too. it looks kinda like the area around her entire head is sorta "clipped out" and strange moving when it isnt
if you look at the walls, theres a banding effect on the walls.. looks like it was edited in (this haze).
@@protanopia if you look at the entire rest of the video, you can see that is just how lighting/shadows work on the walls... it's the type of paint used that creates this effect when lights reflect off of its sheen... most hotels/large buildings/offices/etc use it because it's easy to clean paint, durable, and cheap.
@@protanopia the haze goes above the line. Also, Peter is a pretty good editor and he wouldnt have just left a blatant line there if it was edited in. It's either a glitch (which is more creepy) or that's just how the shadows of the room work

Depending on her work portfolio, especially if she was a W-2 employee (normal job) during that period with typical tax withholding, she paid her taxes. Unless she had excessive unreported income or income from a 1099 - contract work (Uber Driver), she likely just cheated herself out of a tax refund from excess taxes paid. Also, you have 3 years to amend a return, which I think is why she thinks she has 3 years to file. The due date typically falls on April 15th of every year, October 15th for extended filings.
The late filing penalty is 5% of the additional taxes owed amount for every month (or fraction thereof) your return is late, up to a maximum of 25%. If you file more than 60 days after the due date, the minimum penalty is $205 or 100% of your unpaid tax, whichever is less. I am just a student, but thought this information would make it less scary to go ahead and file those returns girl. It's requred...lol
