Is that all the all that it requires? Just grease those 2?? I was thinking there should be more to it than that. I hit those a lick or two ever on every pm
@@therealdeal3438 Well we have an ultra shift in a kenworth and it was always screwing up and getting locked up. After taping on it and greasing it, I found it would always happen when the GI code was on and would free up after re setting it. Its just odd because I dont believe there is an actual lockout. Sometimes these transmissions are finecky. Keep it greased and follow the recomendations of how to drive with one of these.
thanks for info BUT does not work on my 2017 ultrashift plus.. VERY similar.. BUT mine only goes into "6" and I cant pick my gear. I try the proceedure as you say down arrow but on 6.. still no reset.. any thoughts? thanks!

I believe if the G1 code is on too long without being reset thats what locks it. Its like a limp mode per say.

rolling 18 I have a 2020 and it goes to 6 and doesn’t reset either
@@romancevasco has to go to dealer,
They can set it so GI warning never comes on again but u have to remember to grease!
