The guy has his head screwed on straight, he sings about "Drinking Alone" and "Bourbon, Scotch, and Beer" but it's clear his only passion in life is music.

George is awesome, not always an easy interview. i have seen him many times first row, one night the crowd was squeezing the stage really bad at a general admission. A girl was getting pinned again the fence. George got the attn of security guard and gave her water. the guard was responding to George at first, he started yelling "Ace, Ace!" Finally the guard looked at George. he directed him to the girl and essentially saved her from the crowd.

I’ve always thought .. this is the guy I’d choose to go for a beer with if I had the choice of anybody .. probably down to his songs & the stories they tell. Gimme a triple shot of that juice. I get the feeling being with this guy when you feel down .. you won’t be down for long.. he’d say .. are you with me brother.

George seems like a really chill, easygoing guy to talk to. He looks great for a dude in his late 50s (in 2007) too.

George Thorogood spoke with us in the early 2000's where he talked opening for The Rolling Stones, playing semi-pro baseball, answering fan questions and more! Just a great, in depth interview, we were happy to have him. ruclips.net/user/edit?video_id=VhxvQqa6MTo

House of Guitars is in Rochester, NEW YORK, George... not Pennsylvania. Western New York state (aka the armpit of America). Being from the Rochester area I'm offended that you would make such a blunder. I can see how much you really cared about the place and the experience you had there, if you can't even remember what state it's in. I don't mind though... like i said Rochester is a fuckin hole and House of Guitars is about as close to the center of that hole as you can get. I hope the place has burned down since I was last there... i don't know, like 25 years ago or something.

Good lord this interviewer is horrible, I hope he's gotten better in the last 6 years, or gotten in a new line of work.
