Thanks for watching! The Original fit still exists, however, it mainly shows up in their trail lineup.
It really made awesome improvements from via one to via two, super soft and one of the best shoes I've ever bought.
Is there any chance you can show the width of the shoes by comparing the actual insoles against each other. I love how informative your videos are!

Why not include the racer? That’s literally the model i’m curious about!
We left the Racer 2 off because it fits the same as the Escalante 4. It has two fewer millimeters of stack height and a more breathable upper than the 4, but the overall fit and width are the same.

You should be fine in the same size. The Escalante fits wider.
Is there a new altra Escalante racer coming out anytime soon?
The Escalante Racer 2 is out and available for purchase.
They really ruined the Superior. The foot box has so much less volume at the dorsum than it used too.

Just ordered a pair of Superior 4 of Ebay. The upper on the new superiors are so stiff.
The current Superior definitely has a shallower feel compared to the older versions. They are definitely fit for someone with a lower instep.
