Looked like Adam Sandler and the movie cover for grown ups to me. But at around 1:59 it shows it again but then changes to what looks like a thermal image scope built into the mp5.
While the current AI text/image to video has significant hallucinations to create a more consistent gameplay, but today's level of AI can already cause mixed feelings. The fear of losing millions of jobs in the gaming industry will lead to success and failure at the same time... The most exciting time we live in
@@IWillYeah throughout history machines mainly replaced jobs people didn't want to do anyway. Most people didn't want to do manual labor, it's just that having a bad job was better than having no job at all For the first time in history machines are threatening to take jobs people want to do. Being an artist or a game developer is a lot of people's dream job
People are talking about it but had no idea of the possibilities of AI technologies. Perhaps this topic remains in the shadows of the game industry. Who could have imagined that it would happen so soon? I didn't
playing it again lateer and seeing how "bad" this graphics actually is compared to modern games hurts :((((. I remember playing COD2 and i remember graphics like it was in CODWWII or Vanguard but we all know how it looks today :D.
It's kinda like this, when we're kids we imagine the graphics to be better, but we play again and realize that it's not quite like that. But whenever we go back to playing after years already knowing what the console generation and the specific year can provide, we started to find the game impressive again, but proportionally for its time
All Ghillied Up was maybe the most real-looking, despite the foliage on McMillan's suit not being there most of the time. It's impressive that it tracked it as well as it did, considering those suits are designed to break up the human's silhouette.
I disagree about the real-looking. This mission is happening in Pripyat (a Soviet ghost town) and if you check pictures of how Pripyat looks in real life and compare it to what you see in the video, It doesn't match at all, especially the environment. It feels more like Johor Forest City in Malaysia, rather than Pripyat.
Because it lost its novelty, because it's already been done. MW2 No Russian was already tasteless as it was, but at least it was something new and controversial, so it got the headlines. Making an airplane full of civilians explode isn't dark/gritty or whatever people on the internet say? It is, but it isn't novel, so it has no impact, and is just tasteless
Because it's made by the original creators Infinity Ward made COD 1,2,4,6 Activision fired them because they wanted to be separated and work for EA as an independent studio. They feared Activision was going to steal their IP and give it to someone else (Treyarch and Sledgehammer, for sure), so they turned and worked for EA in Battlefield Bad Company 2. That's why that game is so similar to Old COD.
you see the potential is incredible, but I still see a facecam on scope's reflection and 8 fingers on one hand and and demonic shapeshifter dogs etc XD
I´m amazed at how well it handled the chaotic scenes, specially on the boat. I know it still has a way to go, but still. How much game graphics and CGI in general progressed in 10 years? Now imagine how much AI has progressed in the last 2. What will it look like 10 years from now?
Its not even the graphics as much as it is the colors. The original looks like Hollywood put a yellow filter over it like they do for the Middle East or Mexico. Giving it realistic colors changes everything.
I think hyper-realistic graphics and AI are only suitable for horror games nowadays, I'm not sure about Battlefield and Frostbite's physical effects, but if you work on Outlast, Outlast 2, F.E.A.R, The Suffering... with such a long duration, I would be very appreciative! Thank you
When this gets to the point where it can consistently keep track of the individual things it's reimagined it could seriously threaten game artists could be interesting for mods at least and more likely/earlier being used to create machiniamas
Why do Captain Price and those soldiers look more like Russians or Akhmat forces rather than British or American troops? That Captain really look like Kommander Alaudinov...
You gotta do some scifi games like titanfall, last of us, mass effect, lostplanet 2 thise would be interesting to see how ai affects those types of games
8:58 My jaw Dropped at the insane almost near realism of this entire scene despite it still having wierd A.i Issues, almost movie-like with how it crashes but with the still A.i buggyness, but, watching it only once for the first time in that way though, its almost crazy.
All of these games looked good beforehand but I wanna see BO4 zombies as that looked really bad most of the time. I wanna see a realistic Voyage Of Despair and Werewolves and Pegasus to IX and Alpha Omega’s bunkers and houses. It would be really interesting and creepy I bet.
If they manage to get the AI to be consistent, without it forgetting what it done a few seconds ago and change how everything looks at random. as well as have an understanding on facial movement, words/numbers and letters, this could be a very real approach to vastly improved graphics. It still needs a good ironing out, but the potential is undoubtedly there.
The amount of power needed to make this possible, for the average consumer - is still 5+ years away. We’re close, will be interesting to watch it come together
The thing I really like about this AI is that it gives a new perspective on how visuals would look in games, wat work being the biggest example, like how the start of the mission it was very blue and the boats water is glowing. Or how when you get inside it’s either very dark or green lighting that changes the aura of a room. I feel like it could be used to save time in games to give ideas on a almost finished scene would look with different visuals (keyword almost finished, not the AI doing all the work from scratch)
it's not at that level yet of processing more than a few seconds of footage and keeping a consistency with the map and it's very very chaotic but it truly shines in the chernobyl and beginning missions
I feel like if this was once again touched up by a human we would be edging very close to photorealism. Surely this is the next 'true' quantum leap for videogames?

Yeah
God lets just hope the realism doesnt fuck up the visual elements for actual gameplay.

Isn that just Crytek but they actually care about the game than showing off the graphics?
