Here are the translated responses from the Chinese website regarding this video: 1. This guy is of high quality, very intelligent. From other videos on RUclips, it can be seen that he has rich travel experience, strong adaptability, no prejudice. He emphasizes the positive aspects of every tourist destination and only mentions the bad things briefly without exaggerating. He thinks quickly and has high emotional intelligence. Actually, he doesn't represent the average foreigner but belongs to the high-quality social elite who are far above average in travel and social interaction skills. 2. I usually judge people by their eyes. His eyes give a feeling of transparency, brightness, and tranquility, without any fierceness. He gives a good first impression. 3. This guy is really good, polite, patient, and well-prepared with travel strategies. Don't treat people differently just because of their skin color.
They're friendly because he's friendly. Lots of good travel lessons in this video. If you're friendly and eager to learn about the place you're visiting, you'll get a similar reception most places in the world. * Well maybe not Paris 😂

Lived in your country for years, I understand. Not all westerners are ignorant though, good and bad all over the world. Mostly, in general, people are good. I was treated very well there, going back soon.
Bro, what are you talkin about?? everybody in the West who read news in the past 8-10 years knows that China became an advanced superpower, "Made in China" is no longer a signs of poor quality, they have the biggest and most advanced citys, education is one of the best in the world etc.. and nobody had a bad image of Chinesee people, maybe in covid times some redneck idiots, but everybody knows how powerfull and advanced they are, only the low education lvl uninformed people don't know about how modern is China......and this is Shanghai so it's very different than other parts of China, the most western like multicultural and modern city of China, in the rural areas they probably would be less friendly as in the West in the rural areas there would be less people who know about Chinas achivment and more racist redneck, so it's the same, people who live in big citys are usually more informed about other cultrues, because the information exchange faster in a much larger quantity because of the options, fast internet, bigger and denser popualtion etc..
He has a very likable personality and positive vibe about him, people pick up on that. Sometimes people judge others not by their skin color or race, but by the content of their character; like Martin Luther King Jr. said.
Those dumplings looks so delicious!!! I missed them in Shanghai. Two orders and only cost $4 u.s dollars !! I can’t wait to visit Shanghai again soon. And yes, the people in China is very friendly and nice !!
@@krisb-travel Shanghai is the most tourist friendly with a crazy mix of ultra modern and colonial era of the French concessions. And don’t leave out the nearby city of Hangzhou, as well as the quaint river towns like Zhoujiazhuang - Chinese versions of Venice. Last time I was there the villagers still fished the rivers using cormorants (a water fowl). These places are reachable by high speed rail from SH in just a few short hours. I would recommend staying a night as the villages become quiet towards the late afternoons as the day trippers depart. You can sit reading in a quiet tea inn by the river and time travel back to the past. I don’t like Beijing as much though it is very historically important and it is a much older city than Shanghai. It is too spread out and has a completely different Northern vibe compared to SH. But that’s just my opinion. Each region and city are so vastly different. I would leave out Guangzhou definitely. You can also leave the more remote regions of China for later, like Xinjiang, Chengdu, Tibet, the jaw-dropping natural beauty of Jiuzaigou, the terracotta warrior tombs etc. China has so much to offer the visitor. Caution about Tibet is that you cannot pay me enough money to go back there again as the altitude sickness lasts for a week before you get acclimatized. (I’ve not been to Xinjiang yet but that’s high on my list.)

@@Chan_0608 There is no problem for foreigners going to Xinjiang. There is no need to go through special procedures. They can just go directly. If foreigners go to Tibet, they seem to have to make a reservation in advance. It is said that they are worried about foreigners running around in Tibet and dying in Tibet. After all, Tibet's altitude is too high and altitude sickness is prone to occur. In addition, the no-man's land is too large and the temperature difference between day and night is very large. It will be very dangerous to run around.

Here are the translated responses from the Chinese website regarding this video:

Chinese people and its society are no way near how the Western media portrays...!!! The West has no idea how advanced we have become as a country....
Let them live in their own ignorance .... while China continues to progress and advance forward into the future. leaving them behind.
Lived in your country for years, I understand. Not all westerners are ignorant though, good and bad all over the world. Mostly, in general, people are good. I was treated very well there, going back soon.
China copies and steals technology. The last time China invented anything was two thousand years ago with paper and gun powder.
@@mrpmikc2505warm comment❤

I’m putting on weight just watching you eat 😂 I lived in SH for 12 years and still hv a home there. Love China 🇨🇳 from Singapore 🇸🇬!
which is the best city for foreigners to visit in China? Just curious, btw love Singapore, im there 3-4 times a year.
@@therover65 wow thanks yeh I love the mix of going to a big city like Shanghai to see modern China, then heading out to those places/villages to see traditional Chinese, infact Chinas countryside sounds like it would be an amazing experience. Thanks for the tips man I’m planning a China trip.
Shanghai is a lot like the New York City plus Boston but cleaner😂 maybe you can go to the west Nanjing rd or Xintiandi where so many good coffee shops and restaurants are at, with a lot Shanghai flavor
I have lived in Shanghai, Beijing, etc., for 9 years, and it is nothing like New York; stop saying that, please. We have free internet, you don't. We have so many homeless and mentally ill people all over the streets , you don't. We have gun violence; you don't. We have a bunch of man-hating feminists you don't; we pay women with no real work talent and put them in high positions; because of DDI, you don't. We have gay parades; you don't. We have boys dressing like girls, and visversa, you don't. We have men and women sharing bathrooms; you don't. We have freedom, you don't, etc.,,, so please stop saying we are the same; we are not.
Because of your polite and respectful manner, you’ve got my sub. Keep up the good work .

We are friendly to foreigners and guests, this is a tradition of thousands of years in the Chinese civilization. We like the idea of "天下一家" - the whole world as a family.
We just welcome tourism and seek unity to resit differences. It is also a Chinese tradition to move again.

If you like natural scenery, you can also visit Xinjiang or Tibet.
YunNan is top notch as well
It may be a little difficult for foreigners to go to Xinjiang and Tibet.😢
@@Chan_0608 There is no problem for foreigners going to Xinjiang. There is no need to go through special procedures. They can just go directly.
If foreigners go to Tibet, they seem to have to make a reservation in advance. It is said that they are worried about foreigners running around in Tibet and dying in Tibet. After all, Tibet's altitude is too high and altitude sickness is prone to occur. In addition, the no-man's land is too large and the temperature difference between day and night is very large. It will be very dangerous to run around.
@@何北流 He is repeating the propaganda line....
Maybe Xinjiang and Tibet is a bit too far considering he only got 6 days in China, Yunnan is a good choice and I guess it’s easy to fly to the Southeast Asia from there?
