      Hey there, just happen to see your comment. I’m Chinese and I’ve being living in the UK for over 23 years now. I started to pay attention to people’s perception here towards China/ Chinese people during Covid. It’s unfairly negative I would say, perhaps thanks to the media I guess. Just wanna say thanks for being open minded about it. From my experience of travelling around 20 countries I believe China is super safe in comparison and Chinese people are very friendly especially towards foreigners. I know I’m just a rando out of no where but if you ever need advice or help going to China happy to help. Hope you’ve had a good bank holiday!

      @sherryshangguan9046 I too have found people to have a very negative view about China. I'm from New Zealand so a bit of the negativity reached here too. When I visited it was honestly sooo different from what I was expecting. The people were so sweet and friendly and some person at a restaurant I was at was even willing to let me try some of their food 😊 China was nothing like what I had heard and I can't wait to visit again ❤

    Hey, bro! Your video has been also add Chinese subtitles with Chinese subtitles by Bilibili's blogger and uploaded to the Bilibili Video website in China. Welcome to China! Believe me, that blogger didn't mean to steal your video, it's just because most Chinese netizens don't use RUclips very often, and your video is also very interesting and worthy of recognition in same time. Your video has already received hundreds of thousands of views on Bilibili, and Chinese netizens highly appreciate your politeness and humility, which makes you very popular in the Chinese society that values politeness. As you know, the vast majority of ordinary netizens in Western countries actually have little understanding of China, and Western media is very fond of smearing China, which leads to ordinary people who have not visited China generally holding a negative attitude towards China. Therefore, Chinese netizens believe that we need more communication to get to know each other. If we do not see each other with our own eyes and do not communicate with each other in person, it is actually very sad to have a negative impression of each other. btw Sorry for there was a Chinese person following you all the time in your previous video, which was a bit awkward. However, it is highly likely that he was just curious about meeting a foreigner and hope you can make more friends in China. By the way, if you are considering posting your video on Chinese video websites, you can send message to contact me. I am happy to provide you with help and become friends with you. I hope that one day we can meet as friends and hang out together!

      Dear, whomever you are, I am not an American BUT I can assure you that living surrounded by Chinese and while traveling in Europe besides Japan, your people are the least respectable. Bullying everyone in their way. Chinese in-laws have no respect for their daughters-in-law. Chinese people think that hey are above the law in my country and all over Europe. So, please, do not judge the West or Europe and/or compare the rude Chinese travelers to their behavior here. They, in general, deserve the bad reputation abroad. NOW, that your countrymen behave differently at home and in their natural surrounding I AGREE. Sorry to disappoint you, but this is the truth.

      @therover65 Месяц назад +1

      @@krisb-travel Shanghai is the most tourist friendly with a crazy mix of ultra modern and colonial era of the French concessions. And don’t leave out the nearby city of Hangzhou, as well as the quaint river towns like Zhoujiazhuang - Chinese versions of Venice. Last time I was there the villagers still fished the rivers using cormorants (a water fowl). These places are reachable by high speed rail from SH in just a few short hours. I would recommend staying a night as the villages become quiet towards the late afternoons as the day trippers depart. You can sit reading in a quiet tea inn by the river and time travel back to the past.
      I don’t like Beijing as much though it is very historically important and it is a much older city than Shanghai. It is too spread out and has a completely different Northern vibe compared to SH. But that’s just my opinion. Each region and city are so vastly different. I would leave out Guangzhou definitely. You can also leave the more remote regions of China for later, like Xinjiang, Chengdu, Tibet, the jaw-dropping natural beauty of Jiuzaigou, the terracotta warrior tombs etc. China has so much to offer the visitor. Caution about Tibet is that you cannot pay me enough money to go back there again as the altitude sickness lasts for a week before you get acclimatized. (I’ve not been to Xinjiang yet but that’s high on my list.)

    1. This guy is of high quality, very intelligent. From other videos on RUclips, it can be seen that he has rich travel experience, strong adaptability, no prejudice. He emphasizes the positive aspects of every tourist destination and only mentions the bad things briefly without exaggerating. He thinks quickly and has high emotional intelligence. Actually, he doesn't represent the average foreigner but belongs to the high-quality social elite who are far above average in travel and social interaction skills.
    2. I usually judge people by their eyes. His eyes give a feeling of transparency, brightness, and tranquility, without any fierceness. He gives a good first impression.
    3. This guy is really good, polite, patient, and well-prepared with travel strategies. Don't treat people differently just because of their skin color.
