The mom who wanted the friend to babysit: it sounds like the girl didnt want her husband to watch her child simply because ahe didnt want him to. Even if hes disabled, unless hes a quadriplegic, he can still care for a child. I myself am a paraplegic, wheelchair bound, ans i have raised 3 children. Someone mentioned the friends response could have been said diffrently... Why? It wasnt sweet and sugarcoated like so many people require. Sometimes the only way to get theough to certain people is to say it straightforwardly, even if it stings a little
Story 4 Him claiming to not know where the fracking cleaner is really says a lot about how much he contributes to the household in general, and how much he care to put in *any* effort. I can't understand men who act like this, or how plentiful they are.
yea no way would I clean up after this dudes ibs issue. hes a grown adult he can clean up himself. the fact he actively refuses to be an adult is sad. I hope she divorces him post haste. he is giving weaponized incompetence. Nothing is more unattractive to a woman than a grown man who needs a mommy to do everything for him. just GROSS.
Lol, car story, it's the opposite in my house. I want the manual, and the hubby does NOT. But we have agreed, He gets what car he wants and I get what I want. We each have our own vehicle and being adults if we want an automatic or manual, we can have whichever we want. We have both worked our asses off our whole lives and believe we get what we want on certain things. *Edit* also if I heard correctly SHE already purchased the SUV she wanted. Why does hubby now not get what car he wants???
I became part of a blended family in 1987. I was 4. No we didnt talk about it. We dealt with things as they happened. The only thing i was asked from the beginning was do you want to call him by name or " dad" also? It was no big deal. People make their own lives too difficult
The woman with husbands car story, shut up, your being ridiculous! You have a car, it's his dream car, let him have it. Your being selfish and difficult on purpose! He proved your allegations false. Let the man have his car, learn to drive it, or don't.
I grew up in a house where Dad's car as manual and Mom's was automatic and it stayed that way until very recently although even after Dad got an automatic car Mom still never seems to want to drive it. Now my parents have been married nearly 50 years and were not afraid to have arguments in front of us kids but I don't ever remember Mom being upset/annoyed about not being able to drive Dad's car...probably because he and my mom always had their own car....if the wife already has a car I don't really see what's the problem with him having a manual car.
On the story where a woman wrote that her sister wanted to photoshop OP's wedding photo - I had the thought that photoshopping sister out and adding mom in putting necklace on bride, but mom is slightly transparent and add angel wings to mom. I just think that would super cool.
Honeslty maybe the womam whos husband wont clean the toilets should just leave it and start telling all visistors "sorry if the bathroom isnt clean I have been teaching my husband how we clean potties". That will probably embarrass him enough to clean up or use his own toilet
I'm sorry but why is the wife so mad he gets the car She has her own car!! And it's a Honda Civic! That car can fit the baby seats. She can try to learn how to drive a manual. They're finances are seperate and he can afford it! I'm on OP side
Because her car is/will be THEIR car, while husband’s car is HIS car, that is definition of unfair. I’m sure if he’d chosen an automatic Civic she’d be fine with his car choice. Maybe if he makes do only with his choice car and won’t be asking to use hers every time his won’t accommodate, then sure go off.

I spent HOURS trying to learn to drive a manual. Hours. I eventually made the clutch start smoking and gave the eff up. Lol. I hate it!
