I am a CNC machinist right now. But my long term plan will involve some of these topics. Planning on starting my own business within the next 5 years , and then looking into topics like bringing manufacturing back to America , and training the next generation. We all need machinists . But most kids have no idea that this career even exists. We need to change that.
we definitely need more machinists and all types of trades way way way better to get into trades vs all these white collar jobs which won't even be needed in 20 year
Forgot to hit comment over the weekend, enjoyed the discussion on Anduril and the scope of how much manufacturing is currently overseas. No idea it was THAT low. If we can just capture 5%-10%? how many billions is that ?
What other ways can we make manufacturing cool?
Making money
This is the way
