And you will get that energy in spades. I have my ticket to see them a day or so before at Ace of Spades midtown Sacramento. This will be my fourth time seeing this amazing act. And l am just as hyped as the first time at the Echoplex in LA. "Don't fight myself!" Miku is wise but then again you would expect some wisdom with a perpetually 810 year old small pigeon. Enjoy the show.
You are going to enjoy the hell out of yourself !!!!!!!! The energy is electric, the anticipation is almost painful, and when they come on stage it's like a pressure valve is opened and the Maidiacs are ready, willing and able to GO !!!!!!!
@@frankandre4385 It's really an experience. But I think you will really enjoy the little interludes, like Misa's Opening Ceremony, Miku's Cheerleading and Omajinai Time, Saiki and Kanami's Japanese Lesson and the piece de resistance, Akane's Banana Ritual. It's these little things, which NO ONE else in live music does, that shows their love for their fans, and frankly, I think they are just as important as their music. That's what makes Band Maid the success that they are. I mean really, what other band would encourage and applaud a fan-inspired and fan-created mini-movie, the Life of Mincho, which is based on Monty Python's Flying Circus????? And they do talk about Biggus Dickus in the movie, lolololololol.
As great as this version is, the one to watch is from Studio Coast in 2017. They closed the show with it and they really went all in. Oh, and there were pyros too. 🤩
Ah yes. Pre-Covid live Band-Maid. The Tokyo Garden show this year had pretty good production but masks had to be worn and the audience was still being told not to shout out. It was also a seated show so people would not be pressed together. It left the show sounding partially empty despite selling out 8000 tickets. No such restrictions on the US shows last fall and, as I understand it, restrictions were lifted in the recent shows in Japan but no professional recordings yet. A few decent fan cams from the US but nowhere near what we have come to expect from their official videos. I can’t wait for the live stream of the Yokohama Arena concert at the end of the year. Hoping for great production along with a massive enthusiastic crowd. Should be epic!
The only thing I regret not seeing them in Japan is we don't get the full effect in overseas shows. No light show, no big screen behind the band, no pyro.
I was at Tokyo Garden theatre and yes we had to wear masks and although it was seated, nobody was sitting and the whole audience were singing and responding loudly. Unfortunately in the videos from the concert you can’t hear the crowd participation but that has more to do with the production of the video.
Very happy to hear that you get to see them this year, also very happy to get to see them in Portland Aug 11th, Somthing I felt would always be beyond my reach, now I have had to start a workout program so I can endure the show as I'm on the older side, congratulations B.G.
Don't worry Aj, it's a breeze. I'm 76 and I saw them twice in three days last year. I also sent in an email to see if they could do a show at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park at some point. Imagine Band Maid playing at the mecca of New Jersey Rock, where Bruce Springsteen, Little Steven and Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes played. Have a great time !!!!
I'll be at Anaheim as well. I'd say the crowds in the States are more energetic while the ones in Japan are more organized. Full concerts on Band-Maid Prime.
IMO, best version of this song ever. Totally raw and hard core Band-Maid. The Zepp Show is also my favorite Okyuji. Something about it makes it so unfiltered. Now about your expectations for the Okyuji you are about to attend. Your expectations will be exceeded 10 fold. Believe me. Just like there is life before Band-Maid, there is life before your first Okyuji, and life afterwards. You will be changed forever. ぽ
The Zepp Tokyo LIVE concert is on the Chinese site Bilibili, a lot of the Studio Coast stuff as well. And you're right, it's their best stuff. It was all pulled from RUclips ahead of a DVD release.
Still a fave, and that's not fiction. BG, I know Gary Holloway would agree with me that a retroactive score change to 10 is appropriate for don't you tell ME!
Hell yeah BG whole concert reactions, mow your talking. Perhaps over on Twitch or Discord. This way you can get a real feel for their Energy. I prefer Shinkiba Studio-Coast obviously, for its overall Song Selection, Flo and Mastering. But the three song opening to Line Cube Shibuya is tough to beat for sheet energy - Extended Drum opening by Akane into Rinne. Headbanging right outta the gate Miku's Twin Tails flying everywhere posted up next to Saiki slamming away on her Zemaitas Flying-V and Kanami into instant Mincho Mode lost in a sea of Ultra Thick Chugging. Then directly into an Explosive version of Blooming followed by a Super Hyped version of Screaming. Its like they were shot out of a Cannon.🎉 They should've played the fourth song and then taken a rest but that's just me being picky. Anyhow I'd Love to see your reaction to that and anyone else who's never seen one of the Big 3 Concerts. I don't use discord or twitch because I'm too old to figure that shit out! But if you posted that you were going to do that. I'd make the concerted effort to figure it out.

NICE! One thing you can always count on is the ladies. They could never disappoint; they don’t know how!😊
Have an awesome time, Robert. Now you'll just have another 806 B-M shows to go to to reach that magical number.😁👌
You are going to enjoy the hell out of yourself !!!!!!!! The energy is electric, the anticipation is almost painful, and when they come on stage it's like a pressure valve is opened and the Maidiacs are ready, willing and able to GO !!!!!!!
May 24... Detroit...The anticipation is killing me !

@@mikeat2637 And who knows what new bits will be introduced on this tour...and what song they will play that is unique to that venue...❤️😁🤩

I believe both the Zepp Tokyo and the Studio Coast venues had since closed too? So those shows are bit special.
I agree 💯%
Imho The Studio Coast concert is their best live recording up to date.
I bought the DVD back when it was released, so I watch it every chance I get ;) never gets old ;)
See you in Anaheim! I saw them last October in San Diego and never thought they'd hit Southern California so soon. Can't wait!

Full concerts on Band-Maid Prime.
This, and Yolo, are two of my favorite songs by them, and you rarely see them reacted to.

this whole concert was freaking legendary man.
also, the whole concert is up on bilibili. might get hit with copyright though.
Absolutely. One of the best concerts I've seen from them.
See you in Anaheim!
