Okay Mr. Mayor in stead of complaining about the power company take a good look at the destruction of the power infrastructure. The fire stations should have power back up propane generators as well as Fuel stations to provide fuel to truck and automobiles. Has the state or the city of Houston done this or have it on their emergency planning board. Also, individuals who live in single family homes should have either solar or fuel power generators to provide at a minimum electricity for fans or low wattage AC coolers. Stop complaining and do more damn planning.

But in all fairness, I live in Florida and it took a week for our power to be restored after a hurricane. It seems like Houston mayor is just looking for a scapegoat.
