It’s interesting the this drill is sold under a lot of different names. Almost all the same basic features with each company adding different features that make it there own.
Not to say that it a bad drill press. For a basic drill it works great for a small home shop.
Thanks for your unboxing and setup video it will definitely help out new users.

I thought this too until I dropped it on the floor and found that it has a fold out section with pictures.

Just bought this and the main shaft wobbles when you push it down. With it turned off you can push down only 1cm and feel a 1mm free play from the tip of the drill bit. I thought German engineering was meant to be precise?

I also had wobbling in first days . Try place something hard and straight close to the chuck and press it down to fix the gap. If this ll not work well . Place this hard thing on the chuck and hit it from down with a hammer ( this one fixed mine ) don't ruin your machine but I was not so gentle at this moment 😜.
Good luck and thank you for your comment ☺️

@@StavroFix I'm not sure what you mean at all. It's the quill that's loose inside the housing. Everything is fine until you lower the bit into the workpiece. the further down you go the more free play there is. It's a problem when you have an uneven surface because it walks, mainly towards me. I can mitigate it slightly by pushing against it while lowering. Maybe I could put strapping round it or something.

Its coming next week at lidl here and cost €99. Seeing the good reviews and the price and the fact I don't have a drill press I have to buy it

3 years later they still sell it but now it's £100. Just impulse bought it. Seemed like a used one that was returned. The gaurd has scratches and main shaft has rust spots which I got off with emery paper and WD40. Anyone else find the chuck wobbles as it's lowered? Doesn't seem very precise to me. I know it's only cheap but for the materials used it should be better machined.
