Their recreation of Paul Young was particularly impressive
Nobody in comedy commits to a gag more ardently, or to greater effect, than Joe. His stuff is so outlandish that most of his bits make one laugh just as hard on the fifth viewing as on the first.
That whole "Fabio thinks he's real" thing is so stupidly funny.
Very impressed with Paul Youngs ability to keep a straight face there

Absolutely devastating, the passing of Sean Lock. I hope that show will keep going and I would really like to see Joe Wilkinson in his absence. No one can replace Sean, but Joe would be a perfect full-time addition to keep the show going.
Personally I think they should keep using guest team captains in Sean’s place but if they did choose a permanent captain Joe would be the best choice.
Lee Mack would be decent too.
I loved the way joe was the only one who Sean genuinely laughed at every time . Love joe, miss Sean...

@@duxnihilo I just mean that American celebs tend to be so detached from certain beats. You look at the Oscars and other ceremonies and they just sometimes act so awkward. It would be great to see them just be a little thrown off or even loosen up a little... ACTUALLY HAVE FUN AT THESE VERY LONG SHOWS, like a good audience...

Joe is my second reason why I watch the show, the first reason being the actual game. I love the numbers and letters games. It's a shame when he's not on. I loved his half time antics during the early series
Yeah he got too successful to get to the studio for bits. Damn tv gigs . Roisin always makes the time and it's humiliating every time for her. But I think she has constant work in a neighbouring studio. Think Joe was on other side of London at the time .
