Nobody in comedy commits to a gag more ardently, or to greater effect, than Joe. His stuff is so outlandish that most of his bits make one laugh just as hard on the fifth viewing as on the first.
Absolutely devastating, the passing of Sean Lock. I hope that show will keep going and I would really like to see Joe Wilkinson in his absence. No one can replace Sean, but Joe would be a perfect full-time addition to keep the show going.

It would be great to see them just be a little thrown off or even loosen up a little... ACTUALLY HAVE FUN AT THESE VERY LONG SHOWS, like a good audience...

Yeah he got too successful to get to the studio for bits. Damn tv gigs . Roisin always makes the time and it's humiliating every time for her. But I think she has constant work in a neighbouring studio. Think Joe was on other side of London at the time .
Be nice to have the sound people make the comics louder and be less concerned about making the studio Audi sound so loud. Face it, it's as bad a laugh track, same shit, ever so slightly different premise.

Personally I think they should keep using guest team captains in Sean’s place but if they did choose a permanent captain Joe would be the best choice.
