I am here because of Coursera ... I think this absolutely insightful & it's about time to formalize Customer metrics to Quarterly filings ... We all have seen that DCF's method of valuation is nowhere close to companies Acquired Or Traded. Intuitively everyone is looking at Customer Metrics. Great Work ...
+Jussi Tuominen We would love to perform a "bottoms-up" valuation for a SaaS business, driven off of their customer data. A big question, then, is whether, how, and how much customer data they disclose!
+Daniel McCarthy Thanks. Your approach is very interesting and I would like to understand it a bit deeper than was described in Wharton Customer Analysis course. Would any customer data be available for review?
Peter Fader is an exceptional teacher!

You can find a BTYD model in python for jupyter notebook on kaggle.

+Jussi Tuominen It's a great question. We will be making data available once the paper is published, so stay tuned...
Thanks Daniel.
Has the paper been published yet? I would love to have a look at the methodology used here.
