Thank you for not making me search more for how to test the oil pressure gage. The last ten thousand videos I watched all want to test the sender. Thank again and all the best
Thanks for the update and the way you explain things thanks once again for the efforts and for sharing this with us appreciation and u are a great teacher 👍🙏🇩🇰
this was a very informative video thank you, can I ask a question? - with the two types of gauges do they require matching sensors? (does it matter what sensor you use?) - thank you
the sensor has to match you r gauge, for example oil pressure SW type is 240 -33 ohm the VDO style is 10-180 ohm please feel free to wrght up for me ramsey@acdcmarineinc.com
I have a guage by glowshift and I have gone through 2 sending units because the gauge gets pinned after about 2 weeks of use.. I do not know why.. I asked glowshift to send me a resistor value chart for the corresponding pressures and their reference for the guage that they sold me shows that the lower the resistance the lower the p.s.I. is going to register on the gauge... so this american gauge is actually showning me that the more the oil pressure goes up the higher the guage will read.. kind of like the european guage... The guage goes up to 100 psi which is about 160ohms.. the trouble is that it shoots right up to 100 psi all of the time after I turn th car on, anf it ... but thanks for the video I will see the proper size resister in parralel or just put in between the 2 gauge wire will help bring the reading down and make the gague function.

This is so far the best explanation on how gauges work 👍👍up

Thank you for the video and God bless from bachir New york
Great video very informative. Please make video of diferent senders most important 3 prong guage 1,2,3 prong sender and how to connect.👍

Good job I have been trying to find out if a us sender would work on English car
Can you share the schematics for your variable resistance box
Hi my warning light on the Vdo fuel gauge is staying on full-time, my tank is almost full of petrol what could be causing this please
Very helpful, thank you.
very helpful. thank you.
Thank you
Good video
It works but is it correct?
