Having seen a size comparison video featuring most of the Pikmin bestiary (at least through #3), and seeing how big this sucker would be in real life, I can honestly say this thing makes me go, “Nope!”
I actually won thanks to a kind of glitch in 2:04 minutes and got platinum (3 deaths) and because when the mireclops got up Charlie was still on it and it was behind the mireclops' head while it was shaking away pikmins (unsuccessfully cuz i was whisthling them with Charlie)

It takes practice but I can beat the Quaggled Mireclops death-free consistently. The first time I fought it, it was brutal and I lost many pikmin. After resetting the day, I beat it with only 10 deaths, which is still a lot but not the worst. Once you learn it's patterns you can definitely beat it in under 3 minutes death free with practice

It's essentially impossible to beat the plasm wraith in mission mode without losing pikmin. Unless there's a way to stun him during his regular attack, which I doubt because someone would've discovered it and it'd be too cheap for the final boss.

It's amazing that people can do this boss with zero deaths, this legit feels like the hardest fight in the game

The Quagged Mireclops is the 2nd hardest boss in the game.

I got a Pikmin extinction on this boss
I lost 15 pikmin to this guy in story mode because I didn’t wait for the tongue to finish before I charged.

You should have used wing pikmin and you need 25 rocks 25 blues and 50 wings and at least 5-10 sprays

Nobody can beat him with zero deaths with skill alone, you need luck too, that's how dumb this boss is.

Good thing for you that you don't need to have no deaths for the platinum, otherwise Plasm Wraith would've taken you forever
