Gary Walsh For sure, I totally agree. I liked Norway’s entry - but, I think that Norway has this generic “sad” song and the fire sprinkles behind the singer it’s like predictable and the song too, like you know what’s gonna come next. Although, many will disagree because they favour Norway and I must say I don’t hate it either, but Lithuania is on FIRE this year! 😀
Lithuania will definitely make a big splash in Rotterdam. I'm assuming that after their semi everyone will know the dance and it will be one of the favourites going into the final.
Fun fact: "On Fire" just made the record for the most daily streams on Spotify in Lithuania. The record was previously held by Soldi and Mahmood. Lithuanians know what's good
nil erra Yes! I’m surprised. I literally found out the other day that Lithuania chose him! Something different, crazy (not too much) but artistic and professional, too! Every year everyone wants something different and refreshing so I feel from next year, this entry is definitely a different one - and people may think it’s weird but the weird moves and all has a meaning. And the song is like catchy! Great, we will see how it’ll do in the ESC with all the others! 💪🏻🇱🇹
nil erra yes I mean of course in Lithuania the song is from there so that makes sense so not really that impressive but I love that song and hope they win so much!😍🔥

Cee77 Haha, it’s the most streamed ESC song on Spotify- it surpassed “Soldi” by Mahmood which was a hit! Great that so much support is being put behind Lithuania now because it’ll the easier to get at least into the Top10!
Yellow Forest Apparently there was this poll thing released and Lithuania was 2nd place and Italy was first to win. we cannot say this 100% true as we don’t know anything as of yet and the ESC hasn’t started. Would be great to be at least 2nd!
Giedrius Paulauskas Yes! And it was makes the performance put together and groovy. Because if he just stood or moved his hands and did nothing, it wouldn’t be a song we would want to dance with. With the fact that he dances, makes people dance too.
@Rasmus Andersson and the same ballad like every other is something special? give me a break xD this is unique voice, dance, performance, music and lyrics. so i don't see what you so angry about.
@Rasmus Andersson Norway has a boring performance. it's overrated. Lithuanian has a really fun and entertaining performance this year. And it's much more interesting than Norways performance.
Official dance moves explanation: 1st move - hands on the head "I am on fire"; 2nd move - hands stretching to opposite direction "I am stretching out to get some energy even more" 3rd move - hands on the sides of the head "I am getting focused" 4th move - both hands moving together "I am making/opening my way clearer/bigger 5th move - "dusting out, cleaning myself from stereotypes ant ready to roll!" This song is about "youth cult" in society, and if you are above 30/40, it's like you are already too old..So he made this song to say : HELL NO!!! The song tells you that no matter how old you are, where you live, what conditions you grow up in, what environment you are in, there can always be fire. That fire is igniting something better to do :)
It might be bold of me to say this, as most know that LT United still holds the highest placing for Lithuania in the contest with a 6th place and I think they might have a chance to better that for this year.
I low key love this. I'm just waiting for this to become a ticktok dance trend now 😂😂😂. Also you really suit glasses when I wear them I just look nerdy you make them look trendy

This is my favorite too! I KNEW you’d be into this and honestly so happy that you are! Can’t wait to dress up in quirky black and white and bring a magnifying glass to the arena! 🔍 😂👌🏼
I have a few songs that I like, but I've definitely played this one the most, by far. I love everything about it and I'm really hoping that they qualify :)
I feel like the roop is wierd approachable as opposed to wierd offputting. I could see people really getting into it, even the first time viewers on the night of the semi. I have had the melody stuck in my head since the weekend ;)
This is awesome. Rock it man. Going to dancing that move at the bar whenever it finally opens.... And everyone will know what it is if they love Eurovision.❤️❤️❤️
Styling of the people behind is on point as they are just a humans who wants to move on without any prejudice. That's the whole point. To get humans, not a models for this song.
I wonder if you remember this chant "The roof! The roof! The roof is on fire!..." An old-school rap that I first heard as an interlude from Nelly's "Hot in Herre" video. I want to chant that when I see this entry--of course replacing "roof" with "ROOP". Yes, I'm glad you also referenced Talking Heads--that's also the first thing I thought of when I view their choreography.
Your last words was "I am too old for this", so you definitely need to listen this song again :D, because its about "I’m a human not a stone".."They told me maybe I’m too old. But there’s fire in my soul. "
Had the same reaction as you... it feels like a guilty pleasure. I wouldn't say it's going to be a winner, but its deffo memorable! An interesting direction for Lithuania.
Love, love, love "On Fire"! I love how you are surprised that you like the song. It is really uplifting with nice lyrics, but still easy going. 12 points goes to Lithuania!
I feel like Lithuania and Iceland's entries are very similar. Without knowing how well they do, I know there will be competition between these two very similar songs. Similar in weirdness, and style and 80's vibe.
I was soooo looking forward to your reaction and I was not disappointed! I'm pretty sure you'll like the song even more as we approach Eurovision! 😁. And also, can we all just stage a pan-European-American mass dance to this cooky choreography!? 🤣🤣🤣

This is a classic entry that'll do pretty well with the televote (maybe even fabulously GREAT if they really deliver and it resonates), but probably won't do as well with the jury (though I expect it will still get SOME respect because while being a touch throwback, its also modern in the way it does that throwback -- if that makes any sense), and it'll end up somewhere around the upper third/middle of the results overall (i'm thinking anyway)
*I wouldn't be surprised if this wins the televotes in Rotterdam , and i'm here for it* 😍
