Yeah. She always could sing, but I noticed on WINDY she upgraded her singing skills since it was solo. I feel she took a lot of inspiration from Minnie, as you can hear hints of that dream voice here and there. I'm sure she also talked to Miyeon about doing power runs because if you have access to an incredible vocalist like that, you use her! BUT this isn't completely out of no where. With HWAA everyone leveled up. As artists I think I-DLE just wants to get better and better, so it make sense that within that same year Soyeon wanted her solo sound to be more than just her incredible rapping.
