Anyone else fed up of hearing politicians talking about illegal immigration and not actually doing anything to stop it?
It’s crazy how they stick up for immigrants while not giving a sh*t about their own people. There is absolutely nothing wrong with legal immigration but these countries are being flooded by the millions with illegals, mostly of whom are working age Muslim men with radical views. These men seem to have no desire to adopt British or French culture and they contribute nothing while expecting people to adopt their beliefs and culture. We’ve seen a number of instances, thanks to people like Tommy Robinson, where these men are forming grooming gangs and going after young British girls. Yet the media will say nothing about it out of fear of being labeled racist. This is some sick stuff and people need to get a reality check.
It’s so nice to see Alp Mehmet finally on the mainstream talking about this too.
Of course its because vast majority are weak , pathetic, self serving and arrogant.
They live in Westminster Bubble, immigration is very unlikely too affect them unless one of invading party tries too enrich them, family or friends in some way.

yes and they say those with broadest shoulders need to pay more. The 40% rule starts at 50k and we have had 10% inflation (in reality higher than this) for last 3 years. Those broad shoulders start much lower than people think. Catering for a party but you don't know the numbers coming. baffles me why so many still think a lefty thinking mentality leads to progress. by the way, the last government in charge was a lefty as they come! forget the brand name, just look at the actions.

I think the boats have amounted to around 60k people?? But Net migration in 2023 was 685k, that is the total amount of immigrants gained. I believe this includes students, workers and dependants. Not sure if this also includes Xpat UK citizens.

to be fair am i'm extremely against mass imigration, she was making sense (for labour), train british people, reduces the demand for migrants, less umemployed, lower welfare bill, less crime, pay migrants the same, disincentivize employers from seeking out migrants, there is no benefit, no savings, so employ locally.
And yes if we want less migrants, then things might cost more, but we will save money and wages will trend higher. the UK has an untapped, economically unused population , train them, educate them, give them the financial reason to get off welfare
What i hate about this debate, it's always an economic arguement, well highest immigration in years and yet no one is richer, growth is stagnet, immigration is a drain, the money saved will buy a lot of new hospitals.
But i'm more concerned about Cultural matters, i want to live in my country, with my culture, i like my culture, if i want to experience indian culture, i prefer to go to india

I expect that this number is underestimated, does it include indirect costs as well, and remember nationalities of, skills of have massively changed since 2011. So probably the real number is way, way, way higher now.

I'm so sick of this defence of mass immigration with "well we need skilled workers like doctors and nurses." No one has a problem with legal migrants coming here as trained professionals, but that's actually far from what we end up getting. The problem people have is with the huge amounts of illegal immigrants who have practically no training and can barely even speak English.
plenty of local people would love to be doctors and nurses - we need to fund more training seats and pay them appropriately when they graduate - I simply don't want a foreign-trained doctor with questionable credentials and a language/culture barrier - I want my own people to care for me when I am sick

I am 64 i work for minimum wage stuck in a bedsit i have been on the local council waiting list for 8 year's for a flat yet migrants come into the country every day and get local housing
Why has no one mentioned demolishing the welfare state? If we did that tomorrow unemployment would go through the floor, our budget would balance and the swaths of people who have come in who don’t fit our requirements could go home, I don’t understand how this is so complex.
I would advise any women or person attacked by anyone that entered this country illegally to sue the government for allowing a criminal into the country without checks and correct paper work.
