Now the author is trying to convince me he died of septicemia like my grandmother back in 1977??? There are so many plot inconsistencies in the story that Die Neue These should address and correct, to be honest. That whole "Yang Wen-li can't shoot a gun", as a veteran doesn't stick. You don't have to have talent or even be great at it. You just need to practice. Target practice is mandatory in armed forces. Yang dying alone in that hall was distasteful to say the least ... I'm starting to think that LOGH wasn't actually that perfectly done and the older fans are just hanging on to nostalgia instead of craving better plot quality and demanding change. Authors aren't always right, you know? The political and social critique in the series is spot on. The character advancement? Not really... Also the obsession with the Don Juan facet that we actually can't stand (I don't care about any characters' sex lives... Just no.) and the poorly done Katerose plot line (yeah... I'm sure Walter was to blame for a three day hookup that resulted in a pregnancy he knew nothing about... ) are just some of the issues that should be rewritten in the new series. Make it less sexual, mysoginistic and family propaganda inclined. (Abe Shinzo is dead... You can stop now. Each time someone told Yang Wen-li he had to get married, my divorced little ass got major second hand embarrassment...)
