Thumbs up as soon as I hear the intro music. Sorry about the dogs - wow, it sounds like there is a lot of them. However much you might like dogs, that's just a bit much. Must be something that can be done about that. ...Looking forward to this repair...
Hey Dave, hope you're doing well. I remember some time back you were using the Milwaukee 18 volt impact wrench and I have been wanting one ever since. Well, since the Gen 3 was just released the Gen 2 price has been coming down. So I managed to grab a 2767-20 on Amazon for $180, 1400 pounds of gut wrenching torque. Can't wait for the delivery guy so I can play with my new toy. Like yourself I am a serious Milwaukee fan and have many of their tools. But already having an air impact, I just couldn't justify buying an 18 volt impact too. But working on old rusty Jeeps I found that my old Craftsman impact just wasn't cutting it. I bet I can break some bolts off now. Thanks for your videos.
Enjoy your videos. I also do some car AC work on the side and I agree- those leak sniffers are pretty nice! Good at finding the leaks. I’ve always heard your not supposed to turn the Freon can upside down like that. Since your emptying it on the low side, you could put liquid Freon in the compressor, which would be bad for it. The compressor is only meant for gas, and there’s probably enough line between the can and the compressor that it turns into a gas, but you never know. I’ve always left the can vertical and when it gets low I put the can in hot water to expand the pressure. That way it’s always a gas coming out of the can. Enjoy the videos. Btw- JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket. Mine’s a money pit sometimes too.
Thank you! Is it common for the ac compressor to kick on and off every few seconds while running the ac? It's the same year and model Jeep as this one.
Good job finding the leak guys . Now I cant wait for your video of taking the dash out . lol And I agree with Jerry , might as well replace the heater core too .
Great video, Dave! You always have the coolest gadgets haha. Btw We have the same kind of dogs next door 🤦🏻♂️ Thankfully they let them out at 3am so I’m up two hours early for work and never late 😒
Hey David, whats the best way to get in touch with you. I emailed the gmail account on your website a while back with some questions about a project im working on. Love your channel!
Looking forward to the tear down! I have to replace my heater core in my 05LJ and I planned on replacing the evaporator while I am in there.
You'll have this done in no time. I like the leak detector. Very handy.

rccolacc interesting - for 20+ years I've added freon like that and never fried a compressor ..... Probably the next one will explode hahahaha
Low side port is on or before the accumulator which would capture any liquid.

Bullshitkorner ahh keep watching lol
Good call! Might as well if you're going to pull the dish out.
Colin stephenson yes brother Colin the prospect of dash removal didn't thrill me lol
Bullshitkorner he probably has one laying around "behind the garage"😂😂
hahahahahah with weeds growing out of it, and he'll spend hours looking for it
I know you are a dog lover but that would get annoying. Sucks about the leak but still a great deal. KEEP TURNING WRENCHES!!! 😎
You'll fly through that dash in no time, since the dogs will be barking all DAAAAY! lol
Big hole detected in the ozone layer above Franklin. :-)
World of Randometry wondered why I was getting so tan ...... Hahaha
